I am feeling okay also. I have some pain on one of my incisions but everyday gets better. No complications from surgery. Walking. Sipping. Resting.

@@ram1988 yes! Day 3 will be great! I have to survive department holiday dinners today and tomorrow. I have to stay strong! Tonight we are going to restaurant so I have to say no to the bread and only ordering salmon and steamed veggies. Tomorrow is lunch and I have to stick to my shake. But I can still enjoy being around friends. We got this!

Hi all ???? I have a question. I start my pre op diet on Monday as I am making my grocery list, I realized that I will have to pack my lunch shake. Any advice on how to pre make a shake and store it? Refrigerator? Feezeer? Also, what else did you guys put on your grocery list for pre op diet? Thanks!

@@ram1988 same here. It's been tough! My pre op diet is 2 meal replacement shakes, 2 high protein, law carb snakes, and 1/2 servicing of fruit. I look so forward to dinner to have meat and broccoli! Lol It is helping me change my mindset though.

Any December Sleever's?
caines530 replied to wif3ysince08's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Dec 28th for me too! And I'll be on my pre op diet starting 12/14 so no Christmas Desserts for me either. I'm also excited and nervous but life is still going on and so much to do at work and home that I don't have a ton of time to think about it. But I'm super excited! Happy new year to us! Best wishes on your journey! -
Oh man, that must be so frustrating! It will be worth it and your surgery will be here before you know it! When are you anticipating your surgery? Mine probably won't be until early February. <3I actually ended up going to see another doctor. There had been rumors going around about the previous doctor that he has a deal with the makers of the CPAP machine and he gets a nice cut every time someone gets one so EVERYONE gets one. I got a second opinion because my results seemed so insignificant I found it hard to believe that I truly needed a CPAP. So I went in for a second opinion and the doctor did confirm that I have extremely mild sleep apnea but there was no reason to treat it and cleared me for surgery. I got my date today 12/28. Even if I did need one though, I was going to continue with another doctor. I didn't like the first one lol

So I FINALLY got a surgery date - What seemed like forever! After all of the appointments, answering all the SAME questions (lol), taking time off of work to make the appointments, even needing to get a second opinion on my sleep study results for clearance, I finally have a date. My stomach is in knots but I'm excited! I will be sleeved on 12/28/15! Can't wait to be on the losers bench! Would love any and all encouragement, advice, tips. Mind I'd all over the place right now! Ahhhh! Lol

Hello everyone. I am new here and in the process of getting sleeved. I am hoping for a December surgery date. My question is, has anyone had surgery that has a young hyper puppy? I am worried that he may be too hyper to stay home with my right after surgery. Has anyone experienced this? I have no idea how I will feel once I am home, but I can imagine that I won't be able to take care of my puppy. He's a complete mommas boy and always has to be on or around me. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

I was very disappointed when I went in for my sleep study results. Not so much that I had mild sleep apnea because I knew it would count as a comorbidity, but because I found out I have to do ANOTHER sleep study and that I couldn't get clearance for surgery right away like I thought. I have come to terms with it a little more and just ready to get this last thing over with so I can get a surgery date finally.
-
I think I will have to do something similar. How are you feeling 5 days post op?
-
Hello ????. I don't have a surgery date yet but I am looking at the end of December. I'm getting so nervous again. I am just worried about what to expect, how I'll feel, if I will regret it... My stomach is in knots just thinking about it. I know I need to do this so that I can get my life back. I'm almost 300lbs and it's getting out of control. Sorry for rambling, just very anxious and emotional.... Any advice? Anyone recently sleeved have any advice on what to expect? I know everyone is different but I'm just worried about feeling horrible afterwards and regretting it. My anxiety is really taking a toll on me right now...
