Yay, me! Lol. I just figured out I don't have to unfasten my button and zipper to get my pants down! Too funny.

My insurance doesn't cover them but my Flexible Spending does with a prescription.

My Story: I ain't ashamed to tell it. I was fat, tired, hungry, looked like crap, barely went out, and sick
TinyTink replied to azjeff's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Great story, thanks for sharing it. -
My, how do you fit it all in? I mentioned I'm still preop. But it looks "normal" to order.

Down 140 lbs, can't seem to lose last 15lbs!

You look fabulous, congrats on your success so far! -
Great thread! I'm still preop but so far I've lucked out in going to restaurants that serve Breakfast all day. I can eat part of an omelette with a side of berries or just get an egg with a side of ham. It's not perfect, but it works at this point.

Newbie! (Or is it NOOB?)
TinyTink replied to talkingmountain's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Welcome! I am actually glad my date is in January (my choice) because it gives me the time I need to wrap my head around everything. I really enjoy going through all the posts here to get different opinions and perspectives on things. Good luck to you!! -
Are you sure it's a whole bottle of Miralax?

My doctor wants the weight loss to start immediately and not have food funerals. This is going to be a lifestyle change. As soon as I made the decision to have WLS, I made most of the changes necessary. This was even before I had my Skype appointment with him. Everyone is different though, and I can certainly understand wanting things one more time. I still have Christmas to get through!

What to do about extended release capsule medications?
TinyTink replied to talking mountain's topic in The Lounge
There truly is a danger to opening extended release medication. You can overdose yourself. It is meant to be slowly absorbed as it works its way through your system. When you open it, you can dose yourself all at once. Your blood levels of the medication aren't steady after that either. Please don't open ER or SR (sustained release) pills. Be safe! -
Miss my diet pepsi :(
TinyTink replied to smcbee79's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have always loved Diet Pepsi, to the point that if Coke products were being served I would just have water. Since their "recipe" has just changed and a differently sweetener is being used, I can't stand Diet Pepsi. It's way too sweet. It's probably a good coincidence for me but I'll probably just stick to Crystal Light or ice water from now on. -
Glad things went well for you!

Great pics, congrats!

Congrats. Different surgeons have different diets so you'll have to ask yours. Good luck!

Don't Let the Holidays Derail Your Weight Loss
TinyTink replied to Dr. Adeyeri's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
I'm happy I did very well today. I'm in pre preop mode. I had to have a roll because my daughter spent 3 1/2 hours making them! It was delicious and my favorite part of the meal. I skipped the potatoes, dressing and pumpkin pie but enjoyed turkey and asparagus. Back to the grindstone in the morning. I hope I do as well at Christmas. Thanks for the tips.
