I just saw a commercial for a new product called Centrum Vitamints. The "Vitamins that you enjoy like a mint". It looks like you take two daily. Anyone planning on trying these?

Belly dancing is definitely the exercise for me!! It's more of a total body workout than you'd think. The fact that it's fun makes it that much easier to do. I have some great DVDs that I use but maybe one day I'll actually go to a class. Who else is enjoying dance?

Any update on this, @@Alex Brecher? -
Is there any reason I would want one over the other? I'm mainly planning on using these for upper arm exercises.

Trader Joe's frozen riced cauliflower
TinyTink replied to marypups's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
They were sold out Saturday when I went too. It's a solid hour from my house, but not as bad as you! They told me it would be in tomorrow. I wonder if you can order quantities ahead like you can at the grocery store..... -
Thank you.

How much time did everyone have to take off of work?
TinyTink replied to J3nnif3r8's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery the 9th, went back today, which is day nine. I've been fine at home, meeting Fluid and Protein goals. Working today should have been a breeze but I had trouble with nausea for the first time. I'm a nurse but don't do patient care. Half my time is in my office and the other half is up on patient floors. I also work ten hour days and I have to say, it was a little much for me today. Tomorrow I will probably try to avoid walking around so much. -
Mini Caprese skewers are fast, easy, and colorful. Using a bamboo skewer, insert it through one cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball (or cube if you can't find the little balls). Drizzle with pesto sauce and leave it on the side.

Of course I had to pick up whatever virus was out there when I was coming home from surgery this week. Has anyone tried sugar-free cough drops within a week of surgery? I'm wondering if the menthol is going to be extremely unpleasant or if I can try it. The "plain" cough drops have never helped and I need something for my sinuses, throat, and cough. Thanks.

I can't stand it anymore. I am so sick of reading posts about the beautiful doctor and the hottie surgeon. Over and over people keep complimenting physicians on their looks. I could care less what they look like. Just because someone is considered good-looking does not make them competent!!! My Dad died trusting his oh-so-nice doctor because he was friendly but the guy was an idiot, and has since had his license put on probation. If you're considering any kind of procedure, please don't choose based on appearance. Investigate the reputation, the complication rate, how well and easily your questions get answered, any online reviews. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but don't put your life in just anyone's hands. Rant over. Breath taken.

Oh my gosh I love this stuff. There are different brands and you can get them without salt, but it basically has onion, garlic, sesame seed, poppyseed, and sometimes caraway. I stopped eating bread and bagels months ago so I've been coming up with ways to use this. I mix it in plain Greek yogurt as a dip for veggies, dip hard boiled eggs into it, sprinkle on baked chicken breast...all yummy! Any other suggestions? I hope my tolerance for this hasn't changed, and I will be waiting a good long time to make sure the little bits don't get caught up in my sleeve.

ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1453091030.229920.jpg This one! The snail slime (or whatever it was) brand was only available as a 4 pack or with like $9 shipping! I know I will easily find $25 worth of stuff quickly. I've gotten one from that brand before. I probably just like the Slug Slime name more than anything, but they are large bottles. It ended up cheaper by the ounce for me and while the shipping was $9, each add'l bottle was only something like a dime. Still cheaper. Of course, I buy at least three bottles at a time! But I do share....

I just always seem to find ways to spend that $25 to get something right away! Which brand are you getting @@jess9395?

Questions for those that went to Tijuana Mexico for GS
TinyTink replied to EP8's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
The recovery houses are no longer available, as they were flooded in the recent storms. Everyone now stays at a beautiful hotel, the two days there after surgery are included, and Dr. Altamirano will continue to visit you there. -
Whoo hoo!!

You are likely in a stall, which happens and is normal. Your body is just adjusting. Stick to your plan and you will do fine!! Don't be discouraged.

I think (at least in my little head) that hand weights and dumb bells are the same. Just to be clear though, I'm talking about the colorful neoprene covered weights you can do curls, etc. with. Thanks!

I love belly dance. There are great home dvd's but classes are great fun and students come in all shapes and sizes. I know it's hard!

I'm not talking about bad skin.

My favorite is called Slug Slime LOL. It's cheaper to buy multiple bottles on Amazon than it is through the bagel store that sells it because of the S&H charge. I've also used Original Recipe Bagel Spice, also on Amazon. They are cheaper than my local store. I swear I'm their best customer.

What is oopsie bread? Do you buy it or make it?

I bought some Ricola cherry honey drops and oh my, I have severe cramps on the left side. No more cough drops for me until I'm surely healed up. Ouch!
