Hi,
I'm perbain. I found this site surfing the web for answers to questions I have before I actually get the surgery done. I am 262 pounds and I want to make my goal 140-160. I'm 5'4'. This site has really helped me realize I CAN do this. My biggest fear is I will drop dead in surgery, but as I have read, a few people had that fear and survived so I can too.
I will be having the Gastric Sleeve done in Jan of 2016, at Sliver Cross Hospital. My Doctor is Dr. Brian Lahmann. I have had two fellow teachers at the school I work at, They are just so positive, healthy looking, and happy,it finally motivated me to do this. I have had everything but my Cadio visit for the stress test. That is in 4 days, then my follow up and I'm through. I would do the Sleeve sooner but my Para Pro will be gone with knee surgery and an extended leave so it is January.
I was told I need a full two weeks off work. Is that true?
Thank you for all you have done to calm my nerves. I am afraid, but I think it will be okay. I'm trying to exercise now and am on protein to build muscle.
