Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing. Approx one week each month I am totally exhausted. Feels like I could sleep all day. Blood work is fine and I'm taking my vitamins as prescribed. I'm a male so no it isn't my period! Just wondering what others are experiencing. Thanks!

Had my surgery today at 1. Have walked around the unit. Have sucked on ice chips and sipped water. Worst part is definitely the gas they se to inflate your stomach. Not severely painful, but uncomfortable. If it weren't for that I'd be golden. So glad I made this journey!

Thursday is the day and my mind has been going a mile a minute this morning. There are 2 things that terrify me about this procedure...post op nausea/vomiting....which always happens after I have anesthesia; and sagging skin. I don't know why these things worry me; in fact they are relatively minor issues related to this process. I would love to have some great tips on how to reduce the chances of needing abdominoplasty in a couple of years. Nerves, nerves, nerves!

You look great! My surgery is tomorrow and you have inspired me! -
Still seems surreal. I've been waiting for this for years. I have lots of mixed emotions tonight. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Reading everyone's stories have helped me so much. Good luck to everyone!

I am a huge iced tea fan. So when I heard I can have decaf post-op I was ecstatic. My pitfall is I'm a sweet-n-low person all the way. Not looking for advice on how bad artificial sweeteners are lol, I know, I'm informed....just wondering what experiences are like using sweet-n-low, Splenda, or equal. Thanks in advance.

I am a Registered Nurse. -
I haven't really posted anything but I have been reading like crazy. All the stories are inspiring. I really have no worries or anxiety about surgery. My anxiety is afterwards. I am divorced and have my kids 50% of the time. Just wondering how others are handling meals for a family immediately post op. Any insight is appreciated.

I have completed all the insurance requirements, have obtained insurance approval, and have been scheduled for surgery on Nov 19th! I can't wait; I've been waiting a long time. Hope to learn a lot from this forum and maybe share a little knowledge.
