I am 41 and a mother of 5. My youngest is 3, oldest is 21. I am set to have vertical sleeve surgery on 11/10/15. My bmi has been at 35 for about 2 years now. It hasn't been at a healthy level for about 5 years. I have heard statements that vary from "I never eat bread or drink soft drinks" to "I eat what I want and have a soft drink if I want it". I plan to strictly go by my surgeons guidelines for the first 4 months, but in all honesty I am hoping to be able to eat what I want in just much smaller portions. I am ready to feel better, look better and get back to working out
