That was me on Sunday. BF (Mr. Health n Fitness) wanted to go right after me and was like don't flush we are in a drought. I looked to make sure it was good.

You know you lost weight when
o00 replied to Thomas CPA's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
When my favorite uncle tells me I'm unrecognizable now. He sees me every few months. -
I'm in training all day and I have to sit in the standard chairs and my thighs are not coming out on the sides. I keep looking at my lap and smiling because the chair feels big.

My man picks me up like I'm featherweight. *Blush blush*

Oh wow!!! I wish I could do that. -
Sitting in a tiny booth and there's a 8 inch gap between my torso and the table. [emoji102][emoji1373]

When do you tell someone new you're dating you've had WLS?
o00 replied to gpmed's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have been dating someone for a little while now. He knows I had surgery. I didn't specify but being in the medical field and fireman he is not clueless. He encourages my healthier lifestyle. And has never made any negative comments about my weight even when I was at my highest weight. I was very self conscious about dating him pre surgery so I waited till 3.5 months post surgery before I accepted his invite for a date. He even fixes my lunches now and I have trained him to measure my 3 ounces of protein. There are nice people out there who really will appreciate you just the way you are and won't make you feel uncomfortable about who you are and will support you in your WLS journey. Last night, I mentioned I may need to get boob augmentation and tummy tuck. He said you know what you are doing stay on your plan and don't let anyone or anything deter you. -
Tuna Time! Share Your Protein Recipes Here!
o00 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Food and Nutrition
Since surgery tuna has no appeal to me. I used to love a quick tuna salad on romaine lettuce. Or on hollowed cucumber for a nice low carb meal. I'm hoping one day my new tummy and tuna will rekindle their friendship so I can benefit from it again. -

I Am Thankful For My Stall
o00 replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have to buy new pants in smaller sizes after stalls. While the scale doesn't move in the direction I would like it to, I'm still losing inches and building stronger muscles. Six months out today. Compliments still come in. -
Buying clothes in regular stores and finding bargains.
-
Wearing out younger and skinnier family members during workouts and hikes.

Almost six months out and I just realized I have been crossing my legs when I sit now. And am wearing a size I haven't worn in 16 years!!! [emoji119]????[emoji119]????[emoji126]????[emoji126]????

You know you lost weight when

Today is my 39th birthday. My cousin bought me clothes as present. She asked me to try on a tunic. I look at the tag and see a size L regular. I thank her and follow it with "I'm sorry I won't fit this".She responds with "just try it".Not only did it fit but I'm swimming in it. My head has not caught up with my weightloss. -
I have been seeing a very wonderful person and things are going well. But I don't want to settle for the first guy I date after surgery. Don't have the heart to tell him that I just want to date. Did anyone meet the right person without having to meet others?
-
Gym, hiking, cleaning & reading. Come warmer months swimming will be added to this list.
-
The thing is he is everything I have wanted and then some. Maybe I have underlying fears. I will continue seeing him and see what flourishes if anything. Thanks all for your wisdom. Greatly appreciated

I given up on cardio machines at the gym. I find them boring. My gym has several different options but I don't care for any. So before gym I go walking (minimum 3miles). After that I get on one of the machines for about ten minutes and then do either my upper or lower body whichever day it is.
-
I'm getting better on cardio machines these days. Still prefer the outdoors. Recent rain has been keeping me in the gym more.

Confidently dating a fireman who is also a fitness guru. He is aware that I am working hard at improving my health and physique and is very supportive.

You worry about what can you wear because nothing in the closet fits anymore. Only this time every article of clothing is too big. -
As I sit here sipping on my iced green tea I look down and realize I am wearing a 6" heel like its second nature. I am all smiles. About to change into my workout gear and go hiking soon.
