Hey all! I'm from Ny but im moving to Atlanta this summer. I was sleeved 10/26/15 and I'm down 100 pounds. I don't know many people in Georgia so I'm looking to network with other sleevers for support! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app

Hello all! I'm kisha...25 yrs old..just had a sleeve 10/26...down about 28 pounds. Anyway just had a couple of questions for the experienced sleevers out there ???? So I'm wondering how long the gurgling and tightness of chest will happen. I'm currently in the puree and stage and only eating what the doctor has told me to (even though it's been extremely difficult ) and after one bite I get LOUD gurgling and my chest feels tight. It sucks to eat ????..it makes me sad at times.and I sometimes regret my decision. .but thankfully every day gets better (as far as emotions are concerned) sometimes I think I got this surgery too young...but anyways..does this uncomfortable feeling with eating food go away with time? Will I eventually be able to eat without experiencing this? Also...when were you guys able to eat 1 cup of food comfortably? Thanks in advance for your time.

Thank u everyone. I hope that the gurgling does go awat. It's extremely uncomfortable and makes me not want to eat or drink anything!

1 WEEK POST SURGERY CHECKUP
kisha585 replied to usedtobeaskater's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello! I had my surgery on 10/26 and had my one week follow up on 11/3..they told me I was down 15 pounds. I do walk everyday around my block..not fast or anything. ..just a light walk. The colace does work...but it may take a while to work...it took me a couple days after getting out the hospital to have a BM. I haven't had any medical issues ( thank goodness ) but I have been more emotional than usual. .but I know that will get better with time. Good luck! -

Post surgery food addictions and surgery blues
kisha585 replied to Ray92's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thank you for this post! I was recently sleeved on 10/26/15 and my emotions are all over the place. I cried today. The change is so drastic and so fast. I've talked to several people who are months and years out and they assure me that it's normal to feel that way. I second guessed my decision every since I got out of surgery. I'm 25..am I doing this too young? Will I have health complications? A year from now will I b able to have a donut without being condemned? Lol Right now we are grieving a loss and that can be rough. I hope days will get better...no .I know days will get better. And we will look back at this and laugh. Good luck!
