Greetings New Friends and New Family!
 
I have tried to go through this process for 3  years now and will NOT quit this time!  I am 36 years of age, 5'11, and 285!!! WOW!  If I could write a book, it would basically be about my low self esteem, low confidence, and my past hurts that made me run to food for comfort, and love. 
 
As of today, October 29, 2015, I am on my 5th visit with my primary care doctor.  I have met with my surgeon, Dr. Nygun from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center....Im excited and anxious but at same time afraid and paranoid.....
 
My highest weight has been 350.  Being overweight all my life I can tell you, the stories of rejection, disappointments, and let downs, but God has sustained and kept me through it all!  November 9th I meet with my Dietitian, and November 23 my Endocrinologist and Diabetic Educator!  I will conquer Diabetes.....found out in 2000 when I was pregnant that I had gestational diabetes and after birth, it stayed....taking 4 insulin injections per day, 20 pills orally, and A1C at 12, can someone help!!!!
