Met with my nutritionist today (7.5 weeks out) she said she's thrilled with my progress and that I'm right on track. On my high cardio days (I'm burning 300-500) to get my calorie count up to 900-1000 and on days I don't (weekends) to get close to 700-800. Otherwise she thinks my weight loss is perfect for my height. She said to stay in this calorie range during the losing phase, and that it really won't change much until after I hit goal and get to maintenance. So I'm okay to get comfortable in the 700-1000 calorie range She also said that at almost 2 months and with my cardio I'm doing she would like to see me get in closer to 80-90g of protien. Right now I'm getting close to 70g And she LOVES the fact that I'm getting 90+% of my protien from chicken/yogurt/nuts etc. She also said she thinks I will be able to reach 160lbs easily. After that the weightloss will get harder. P.s. I'm currently doing about 1 hour of cardio per day (broken up into 3 segments) about 1/3-1/2 of it I'm running at a 6.5mph pace and the rest I'm walking at a 3.0-3.5mph pace on a 6% incline. @@Bluesky1

I've been jogging too! I like to challenge myself! My scale is slow moving. But it's moving!

I stalled also. I didn't know if it was from the constipation issue but I have gone past both now. I discovered if I added a little more fat to my diet I became "regular" again. I went out for the first time last Wednesday with some friends and it was harder than I thought it would be. I love my Irish whiskey and beer, and not being able to have any for a while kinda kills me. See I'm still eating what I would like on the rare occasion I go out. Last night we went to dinner as a family to a local pizzeria we had never been to. I ordered the cheese ravioli. I ate 2 ravioli and 1 mozzarella stick. no point in depriving ourselves especially if we are good 97% of the time.

JapGirl replied to Salinagetssleeved's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
They want me to be around 1000-1200 calories around 4-6 months. Right now I'm 7 weeks. I weighed this week and I'm down 2.6lbs from last week's weigh in -

How much have you upped it to? I was eating 500-600 calories per day and 60g protien. I'm now trying to do 700-800 calories and 70-80g of protien. The true test will be tomorrow morning when I do my offically weekly weigh in. -

Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!
JapGirl replied to Salinagetssleeved's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I have lost 20lbs since surgery (I'm 7 weeks) and 40lbs since I started trying back in January to lose. I think I wasn't eating enough. I only lost 1lb each week for the last 4 weeks. So I'm upping my intake and am already down almost 2lbs! -
How are yall doing? I stalled for a while and I think it's cause my calorie intake was too low. I'm not being quite so strict on it now. Plus it helps that I found some AMAZING protien bars

CW 185 GW 170 Thank you for doing this!

I've always struggled with constipation. But it seems to he much worse now. I will have to try the stool softeners and see if that helps.

The doc explained it like "if I was to take some pregnancy tests at a nursing home, how likely would I believe one of the women there are pregnant if one came back positive? You are no different. You're young. And have no comorbidities. The chances of you having had a cardiac event without knowing it are possible but statistically unlikely." He said if you don't place it in the EXACT right place it will come back as abnormal on large chested women!

So I was originally told by the tech that everything with my EKG was fine..... Well I found out today that it was abnormal and they require a cardiologist to sign off of the surgery for clearance for the anesthesiologist to put me under..... WELL my surgery is tuesday and if I can't get clearance by then I'll have to reschedule. Which wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm traveling for this and the cost to change flights is very expensive and it's hard for me to get time off work as well. So that being said, I managed to find a cardiologist that can see me Monday morning. I'm curious to see if I'll he able to get this clearance in one day? Or if it will take multiple visits? Has anyone had their EKG come back abnormal and had to see a cardiologist? How long does this process take? Should I still hold out hope that I can keep my tuesday surgery date? Any experience is welcome. P.s. sorry for the novel.

186. Not quite to goal. But close enough for me!

I prefer using kraft olive oil mayo. It's lower in calories than low fat and has a much better flavor. Plus since it's made with olive oil it's better for us cause we need healthy fats.

I'm in too!

Yeah my only plus side is I'm not gaining. I normally gain 3-5lbs during shark week. So I'm glad it's not going up! I hope the small bottles help. I know today is day 4 and I'm on track to finish early.

Self pay and could cry over the amount, couple of questions
JapGirl replied to mmorris4's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I could get referred to a doc here. But honestly if there is a complication I plan to visit the ER. They can't deny you. But after 2-3 weeks the chances of complications are very small. you can message me if you'd like some more info I'd be happy to share -
Aunt Flow came to visit. And I bloat pretty bad during shark week. So I'm not losing right now. I hope that by my next weigh in the water weight will be gone. I'm hopi g I can work my ass off and be at 170 or less by mothers day (currently 188 ). We're having family pictures taken. As in the entire family. Like granparents. Uncles. Aunts. Kids. Grand kids. Everyone. And we only do this about once a decade.

I'm still allowed to drink them. But I was told to limit them. My nut doesn't want me to live off them. And I dont like the flavor of them now. I found an 8 pack of 8oz bottles. That adds up to 64 oz. If I finish one 8oz bottle every 2 hours then I'm a be to get all my fluids in. I was able to hit 64oz yesterday. 630am - open first bottle 9am - open 2nd bottle 11am - 3rd bottle 1pm - 4th bottle 3pm - 5th bottle 5pm - 6th bottle 7pm - 7th bottle 9pm - 8th bottle For food: Breakfast: One hard boiled egg Or pudding with 1 scoop protien powder Or 1 triple zero greek yogurt Or 1 sausage patty Lunch: Left over protien from the night before 1/3 c Sloppy Joe mix (no bun) Or 1/2 a bigger patty (no bun) Or 2oz pulled pork Or 2 oz baked chicken Snack: 2oz sliced deli meat Or Triple zero Greek yogurt Or Laughing cow cheese with 3-4 crackers Dinner: Same as lunch Does this help? I'm also limiting my intake to 400-600 calories per my nutritionist.

I've only lost 16lbs since surgery. So you're doing better than me @@Bluesky1 I was also told no protien drinks. From what I understand fatigue right now is really common. I try to get atleast 60g of protien. Most days it's closer to 70g.
-
Yesterday was my first time ever getting in my fluids. I got 70oz in. I'm down to 188. But then Aunt Flow came to visit :'( I'm on soft foods for another 2 weeks then all my restrictions are lifted. Btw if you haven't tried it yet. The laughing cow cheese wedges are AMAZING.

@@Bluesky1 my protien drink options are very limited cause I'm lactose intolerant. Almost all of the pre made ones are made with milk or milk protien
