I have the band. 6 years out. I've had several problems and finally gave up. I am considering the sleeve but afraid it might not work either. What made you choose to do the sleeve? Was the surgery comparable to band surgery? Are you glad you did it? I would also like to know about long term results.

Can I ask why you decided to do the sleeve after lap-band? I've had problems with my band and am considering the sleeve. Do you know what the long term results are for sleeve after banding?

I've had lap-band surgery but have had difficulties. I ended up having all of the fluid taken out. No more issues but I have gained most of the 109 lbs that I lost back. I am considering the sleeve but I'm concerned that i may have problems with reflux. Has anyone else had the lap-band and then opted for the sleeve?
