Hello!  My name is Laura.  My friend recently has the gastric sleeve and told me about this website so I thought I'd jump on here and see what it's all about. 
 
I started my weight loss journey at 263lbs.  The 2 week pre-op diet was probably worse for me than the few weeks after having my surgery. lol. But I got thru it and was doing well up until about 3 months ago.  At one point I lost a total of 135lbs but have gained about 30lbs back.  I started drinking diet carbonated beverages again, (which my surgeon and dietician told me I could), but I think that was a big mistake so I'm trying to cut that out again. 
 
I hope to gain from this website support I cannot get from anyone else. It's very hard for people to understand what I'm going through if they've never had the surgery. That's just my opinion though.
