Oh yea I didn't think about that, I know before surgery I'm to nervous to eat anyway but if it is later I'm sure it would be different. Hell I don't care what time it is give me the earlier day lol I'm stoked n so ready to be comfortable in my own skin, it will defiantly be a 1st for sure and thats sad...????

Hi! I was just wondering if there were any June - July maybe even August sleevers around? My last app is May 7th or so and am getting really excited to get this moving. I'm scheduled for surgery August 25th. I was origanally scheduled for July 27th but my insurance was all messed up.

First time because I didn't have 6 monthly consecutive weigh ins, 2nd because they weren't happy with my PCPs notes. He has to rewrite them because they were so "basic". The medical group wanted clear and precise notes. The third time, I really don't know why they denied. I went ahead and called my coordinator and medical group telling them I was very upset about the 3rd denial, I clearly need this! 10 mins later I get a APPROVAL call saying that the Medical Director overturned the decision! What a roller coaster of emotions it has Been!

How cool! liquids for 7 days? I meet with my dr on the 6th... I wonder how long my pre op diet will be. It seems like everything is happening so fast! I'm getting nervous too!! We should keep in touch to see how everything goes! I wish you the best!

I'm scheduled the 20th and my liquid diet starts the 13th. So nervous

Hi all! After 3 denials I finally got approved for VSG! My surgery date is 4/19! It'll be here before I know it! Any other ppl scheduled that day?! My surgeon will be Dr Ali at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital in So Cal! Pray for me! ❤️

I have UHC and I had to have a sleep study, 6 month weight loss thing, psych eval and thats it I believe. I'm on my last 2 visits and am so excited already. Not sure what the sleep study cost is for some reason I was thinking 300+ could be way off though. @@ridgerunner hope all goes well with you!

Thank you all, it I suppose is a "food funeral". I want this so much, I am ready to ride rollercoasters, go play at the park with my gradkids, see more grandkids be born, grow old with my husband, just be the best me I can be.
I am 37 and for as long as I can remember I have fought my weight, diets, puking, don't eat this or that, walk, play sports yet I'm still big. I'm done fighting myself, I need this tool and I will NOT get it and regain weight so I take control today.
I did have subway for lunch which is a start, it was grilled chicken on wheat and that's even a bit better ????

@@Margie122 thank you, I called the ins and they said they have "no guidlines" for weight gain I just need to get my ass in gear and quit thinking I can lose weight by just eating better It's gonna take work and I just hope I haven't f'ed up my chance at having this tool

Yes!! I passed my psych eval!! I was a lil nervous but not to bad. The questions are a bit ridiculous but I suppose they help the ones that need it.
The Dr said NO RED FLAGS and I said YEAH!! Lol. He said I was fine and will pass me and for me to pay close attention to the But classes cause I do skip Breakfast most days and he said I needed that and that I should do great.
I'm so excited just have my sleep study left in Jan to do and 5 months and hopefully it will fly by.

I had 3-4 tests to complete the kind like you would take in school gill in the circle multiple choice kind about feelings and food.
When I did see the Psych he was very pleasant and it took only 20 min or so. He asked about why I was on certain med and if I knew what the surgery consisted of and possible complications.
It was quick and painless n to the point. I was all stressed and worried for nothing.

I can't help to think its me however 20yrs n my weight has never affected him before. Smaller sex, can't wait to try new moves n just be there in the moment instead of worring about my weight

Ok so tomorrow is the Big day!! Well 1 of many lol. I told my boss if I don't come back they put me in a white coat and locked me up lol.
I'm not too worried about it now, the Hosp called and said I would talk to the Psych for 15-30 min then take a test 150 questions. Now that I kinda know what I will be doing I'm not worried, its the unknown that gets me
Anyway haven't been on lately just trying to keep my bp down for PCP today and wanted to write and chat. So to all that read this have a great Monday and if your getting surgery today...YOU WILL DO GREAT!!

@@Reason to Believe & @@eulette I should have mine in June also as I will be done in May!! It is so exciting and bervr racking at the same time. I have my Psych eval the 22nd and 1st Nut class same day.
