I have 1 visit with NUT left and 1 class then thats it!! May I'm done and hoping for an early June date before end of June early July Vacation!

I have UHC and I had to have a sleep study, 6 month weight loss thing, psych eval and thats it I believe. I'm on my last 2 visits and am so excited already. Not sure what the sleep study cost is for some reason I was thinking 300+ could be way off though. @@ridgerunner hope all goes well with you!

Has anyone started to sabotage their weightloss not on a "mean to" way but "oh I'm gonna have surgery I can have this now" way??? I noticed last night while folding laundry that my back hurt and it doesn't normally hurt since I had lost some weight I got on the scale last night and have gained close to 6lbs. That may not be alot to some but to me a bigger woman anyway it makes a huge difference. Anyway what I'm saying or asking is does anyone else think to them selves "eat while you can" sorta thinking? If so, how do you stop it? It's the boredom thinking and that I'm losing something I suppose but I need to get it under control now before the surgery! Help!! Any advice?

Thank you all, it I suppose is a "food funeral". I want this so much, I am ready to ride rollercoasters, go play at the park with my gradkids, see more grandkids be born, grow old with my husband, just be the best me I can be. I am 37 and for as long as I can remember I have fought my weight, diets, puking, don't eat this or that, walk, play sports yet I'm still big. I'm done fighting myself, I need this tool and I will NOT get it and regain weight so I take control today. I did have subway for lunch which is a start, it was grilled chicken on wheat and that's even a bit better ???? Again thank you all each and everyone and I am on MFP also if anyone wants to follow me, I don't know how to search for people on there lol I'm slimmerme34

I woke up this morning and I'm heavier than I was last month at weigh in like .5lb...I'm so mad at myself and on the verge of crying cause I think I just screwed myself!! Did anyone gain during the 6month weightloss period and if so did you end up getting approved or denied?

Ok so all the weight gain and loss is that from everyone's 1st "official" weigh in or month to month? I haven't gained from my 1st "official" weighing just from the month before weight Ok I wweigh 312.8 at the visit with my surgeon (1st weigh in) and now I'm 308 last month I was 309.5 but my scale was showing 310 so that was up from last month's weight not the "overall weight" does that make sense? I worry, that's what I do and o talked to my ins UMR and they said there is "no guidlines" whatever that means so I guess all is ok and we shall see in about 2 months. @@Margie122 thank you, I called the ins and they said they have "no guidlines" for weight gain I just need to get my ass in gear and quit thinking I can lose weight by just eating better It's gonna take work and I just hope I haven't f'ed up my chance at having this tool I worry alot obviously lol Thank you again

Hello all! Was just curious to see if you all had received a psych evaluation letter? The assistant of my Dr said we will receive a letter also as they will. I was just wondering if you all had received one by chance? My psych evaluation said I was fine and looked like a good cantina tell but now that I think about it, what was the tests for...the letter possibly?

I have UHC and have to do 6 months, I believe someone said they didn't have to cause their Bmi was so high but I could have that all messed up too.

When I met my surgeon he said see you in 9 months...I was like SERIOUSLY?!? So my 6 month wait for instance then an extra 3 months?!?! That's crazy however I hope it's before that as I will be done in May 16 and don't wanna have to wait till Aug 16 to get this. I'm ready to do it already lol

Yes!! I passed my psych eval!! I was a lil nervous but not to bad. The questions are a bit ridiculous but I suppose they help the ones that need it. The Dr said NO RED FLAGS and I said YEAH!! Lol. He said I was fine and will pass me and for me to pay close attention to the But classes cause I do skip Breakfast most days and he said I needed that and that I should do great. I'm so excited just have my sleep study left in Jan to do and 5 months and hopefully it will fly by. Thank you all for the help and listening!!

I had 3-4 tests to complete the kind like you would take in school gill in the circle multiple choice kind about feelings and food. When I did see the Psych he was very pleasant and it took only 20 min or so. He asked about why I was on certain med and if I knew what the surgery consisted of and possible complications. It was quick and painless n to the point. I was all stressed and worried for nothing.

@@Miss Mac that's too funny lol. I don't have a surgery app yet but I'm working on it. ☺????
