I quit smoking almost 1yr ago but the surgeon said he will do a nicotine test I'm not worried though beings I quit and I'm so glad I did. As far as the 6 months mine is 7 visits to include 6 with NUT and Pt person and so 1st was to actually meet the surgeon. I'm hoping to also have mine done soon ???? We have UMR so I'm not sure how "quick" they are to get things approved. I have everything turned in checked a cpl days ago now just a visit next week n last 1 in May n ready to go! ???????????? I wish I could get a date early however I don't think the hospital I go to does that or the dr anyway. Thank you @@Momwith3minions

Exactly, I couldn't hardly find anyone thats later either ???? I didn't have to have the egd, pulmonary clearance, cardiac clearance stuff unless that what my PCP cleared me for. The nicotine test I will have to have but I quit smoking almost a yr ago husband's smokes not that much though plus I don't just sit by him n inhale it lol I'm done with it. The sleep study I passed said I didn't have it bad enough to need a machine so I was pleased with that and the 4 hour class I have never had, just the 6 months of classes Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

Really, see we have UMR and we have the 6month wait too and classes. I also had to have a psych eval, sleep study (which sucks) ???? , PCP sign off saying it's ok (clearance) and it seems like I'm forgetting something but not sure what, it's all turned in though I already checked. Oh yea I didn't think about that, I know before surgery I'm to nervous to eat anyway but if it is later I'm sure it would be different. Mine asked how my childhood was I said good he asked about my understanding of the surgery and my support. I did take like 3-4 tests before talking to him they were mandated but all in all not as bad as I thought and I was freaking out thinking I wasn't goin home lol they were gonna put me in a straight jacket n take me away, yea I get a bit worked up lol you will be fine ????
