After my 2nd fill i was kinda howTina said, i couldnt eat NOTHING!! Im like 10 weeks out now from the 2nd fill and i still have a hard time eating, i lost like 30 pnds since the 2nd fill. What did they say about you getting upset about the OV fee?? I wrote her a letter and told her how upset i was. I also kinda did what u did... i refused to make another visit cuz i told them i would have to wait til i could afford to, you cant just suprise people with $110, when they expected the fills to be covered like you were told!!!!!!!! How much weight have you lost? Once you are tight... and your lose weight... you lose weight around your stomach so the band will get loose... but it sucks that they make you wait 6 weeks for another fill... and in our case that we have to pay when we were told its free... when i make my next appt i plan on saying something to him.... he needs to know that his patients arent happy and feel like they are being lied to!!

I had my 2nd fill 1.5 months ago... and ever since i cant eat even close to the 4 oz's i was told is normal... i feel like im not eating enough... but if i eat more then my 5 bites i get sick... Im not sure if i should get an unfill?? Seems like everything i eat i burp up for like 1 hr after eating too... i have no problem with liquids... i just dont want to mess my band up! Help!

Ya i emailed my DR... i so dont want to cause a slip from getting sick... but i dread eating cuz i hate how i feel after... and i find myself leaning towards eating soups only... i just didnt wanna have to pay to have an unfill... i paid cash for my surgery and was told fills were covered for 1 yr and now they are saying that i need to pay an $110 Office Visit fee when i go in for a fill.... im kinda upset with the whole situation so i been avoiding going in :biggrin: -

Yes way too much slimming and PBing and some vomit... im working on it tho... its my user error... im having a hard time eating small bites and slow...

I had my surgery with Dr. Teng... they told me fills were covered for 1 yr... and now they are telling me i have to pay an OV... so basically i was lied to and the fills are $110.... so sad... after 18,000.... they pull this!!

Ya i was told FREE Fills for 1 yr.. and after 3 months i went in for fill $2 and they wanted my "co-pay" so they arent free after all... and it sucks cuz now i have no ins... so im gonna have to pay for the OV... sad that you pay almost 18,000 for surgery to be lied to.... Dr. Tengs office in Las Vegas NV... i love him but hate all the lies i was told!! -
It went well i had my 2nd fill and i finally can tell i have a band!! But now i offically miss some of my fav foods!! Im down 35 pnds....

Ya i got the same bill!! I paid it but complained to the person i paid... it was a bill to read the upper GI.... I dont have ins... so after 3 months you owe an Office Visit... its $110... so the fills arent "FREE" I had ALOT of hidden fee's..... i have to say i like Dr Teng but i wanna kick his staff in the face... they are all rude... and i always leave there wanting to cry... Tina makes me really mad.... she knows i hate her... I just had my 2nd fill... and u?? When was your surgery date?

Im going through what alot of you are going through too... i had my 2nd fill Oct 22nd... a lil over 1 week ago... and for the first time i do feel restriction but i almost feel like its too much... i can totally drink liquids with no problem but food keeps getting stuck... i keep blaming myself that im not eating slow enough or chewing enough... and i hope it is just me cuz i dont want an unfill... but i am finding myself sticking to mostly soup so i dont PB... im just so glad my stomach isnt growling 24-7 like it was up til this fill... and i have lost like 8 pnds since the fill...

I had my 2nd fill on wed... Oct 22... I am having a hard time eating real food... this is the first time i have ever felt any restriction since i was banded on July 18th so im a lil confused about how im feeling... I forgot what it feels like to feel "full"... and when you are "full" with the lapband is it a different feeling then without the band? I cant tell if im "full" or if something is stuck... Yesterday i ate 1/2 cup of lobster bisque and i felt a feeling in my chest but im not sure if one of the lil lobsters was stuck or if that was the "full" feeling... Is it normal this many days out to have a problem with regular food?? I dont wanna call my doctor cuz im ok with liquids and with soups and cottage cheese... but food i have to chew im not ok with... but im not sure if my idea of small bites isnt small enough??? Should i be taking micro bites and going from there??? Sorry for all the questions im just a confused! !! Help!! Thanks!! :tongue:

I had my lapband 6 weeks after having a c-section with my first son... i actually had no problems getting preggo... got preggo the 1st month trying... but i did use a fertility monitor thinking it might take a while due to my weight and thyroid... congrats to you! I love my lapband and you owe it to your lil ones to be thin and full of energy! My lil man is now 5 months and i cant wait to be the thin active mom i should be! My sleep apnea is killing me and i cant wait for it to be gone!!! Im down 30 pnds since my surgery and 55 since i had my baby May 29th!! Good Luck!!:w00t:

You might go again??? I LOVED it... but im getting old and i had a badddddddddd headache after from all the girls screaming LOL So i would pass if they came again! Ya im staring to lose a lil weight again which is nice... i paid so much for this surgery... i hope i can get to my goal... how is your skin... my is starting to feel flabby... i hate that!!

I paid about 18,000 for my surgery... 10,000 of it went to the 1 night hospital stay... my ins didnt cover it cuz i had a weightloss exclusion on my plan.... I didnt see your message til this morning sorry i took forever to get back to u!

I just saw you posted me a message back in July LOL I also didnt know i had messages LOL Dr. Teng was good... i dont like his staff tho... they didnt tell me about all the hidden cost so im upset about that... they said the fills were covered for 1 yr... well you still have to pay the OV of $110... so that isnt FREE to me... so im a bit mad at them... How are you???
