  1. It seems like a lot of people here have lost about that much. So 34 is not bad- I've lost about the same. My nutritionist is making me limit my carbs to 50 a day and stick to 800-1000 calories a day
  2. I have been drinking buttermilk and cornbread. Having two half sandwiches and gluten free crackers. Also cream of wheat and chili with beans. Nothing too bad but she wants me to keep it under 50. Haha- I weigh everyday. I can't keep off!
  3. Been in a stall forever. Dietitian says I need to reduce carbs.
  4. So... Protein with fat?
  5. Yeah... I am starting to get a wee few cravings back...
  6. I think water is finally getting easier
  7. Weight loss slowed to a creep. But it's still a loss
  8. I can't seem to drink without swallowing air and water fills me up. I feel like I will never get all the fluids in. I'm like a dry husk, lol!
  9. Yes I have been fluctuating between 224-229. Annoying. My husband tells me to be patient but it's hard!
  10. Yesterday was my first day back at work as a nurse. I had so much more energy! And my scrubs were pretty loose!!! I remember squeezing into them like a polish sausage!
  11. I have also lost around 40. So I was talking to my friend who has had this surgery for over a year now. She said breads go down real easy but don't fill you up that's why they are a danger food for her.
  12. It is! But it's so different with food now! I used to always grab a Starbucks mocha at the airport, See's candy bars and chips for the flight and eat all kinds of things on the go! Now I immediately go to find my protein shakes and then look for soups for lunch and dinner! Talk about a world shift. Every time I see a Starbucks I have so many memories and I feel my hands beginning to turn into the driveway... Then I remember!! You probably keep a stocked food bag with you now? They can't sell too much soup at the airport, lol!
  13. All your traveling sounds exciting!
  14. It feels so good to be moving. But man! I am out of shape!Haha me too. But little by little we can do it.This is my second week at the gym... last week I did three days, this week I will get in four days. I have to say I was already someone who went to the gym before this new tummy, but this is different. There is a emotional connection that I didn't have before and I really like it. Sweating never felt so good. I agree!
  15. Oh how frustrating! So sorry

    Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

I am kind of getting to like purée haha, especially the baby food turkey and green beans. Still not doing great with water.
  19. I am trying to train myself to not get discouraged by plateaus like before. I used to get mad and figure why bother with the effort. I actually feel somewhat validated now. Like if my body can plateau with 600 cals and a 2 mile walk- then no wonder it did it before the operation!!! I like the sleeve because it is forcing me to not give up. I feel SOOO hopeful for all of our bright futures.
  20. You don't have to blend the eggs. And i was allowed Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Kind of like what you could feed a baby. That's funny I got some baby food green Beans yesterday!
  21. Whoa! Did you feel ok? I couldn't imagine how that would feel!!!! Glad you caught yourself!I felt okay afterwards but I understand why they say no alcohol for 6 to 8 weeks.Mine made me sign a contract saying I understood no alcohol for 3 months and that even then it would only take a few sips to get me tipsy.Well now I have blood in my stool and have to double up on these meds that they prescribe to heal our tummy. How a tiny little .... oops... can bite us in the butt. I bet I don't forget that again. Oh wow! Hope you get healed quickly![/quote Oh man!! Hope you are feeling better! They told me no alcohol till I reach goal- at least you can try again in 4 months
