Thank you all for your support. Part of the problem is my daughter in law just got liscenced as a nurse practitioner and of course now she knows everything. She's fueling it. It's not a long term solution. It can stretch out and you can stay the same size, there are too many complications, there's a 1-200 morbidity rate. I'm determined to do this. Screw them. -

I have tried to tell them but they are so ignorant. They just refuse to listen. I'm nervous about surgery anywhere and it is really starting to wear me down. I've done my research and am not worried about Mexico I think what scares me most (and always has) is going under anesthesia. -

It seems like the whole world revolves around food. Every holiday it's all about food. Treats for kids are always food. it's crazy -
Shopping with my daughter and hate being too fat for the cute clothes. Maybe I'll ask for clothing store gift cards for Christmas so I'll have something to look forward to.

EVERYONE freaked out! My family has only been on day trips shopping in Nogales and it's a craphole on BOTH sides of the border. I just gave up and told them all of Mexico is not like that. It's frustrating -

I can understand them wanting to voice their concerns but after that family should be there for family. Even if someone in my family made a really bad decision I wouldn't make them feel like they were all alone. Sorry you're going through this also. -

Geeze it's personal and not the right of somebody to get on their moral high horse about whether people tell or not. I say to each his own and the others should keep their judgement to themselves.
