I feel hungry & keep asking myself why I did this?!?!?! Im even dreaming of food!!! Mine was 12/22 and I am just yesterday feeling "normal". I was beginning to despair because I was exhausted just walking across the room. I still have some gas pains from eating and drinking, but I'm learning that it's often the position I'm in. Hang in there! I promise it gets better!!! I had food dreams too, and still do. I don't feel hungry though, just BAD head hunger. I'm considering, when life is more predictable, going to overeaters anonymous to help with this. Good luck, you can do this! -
That's so sad! I think people are very afraid of change, it makes them insecure. I told myself before the surgery that this was the beginning of my new life. That from here on out I'm going to treat myself as well or better than I have always treated others. I've had to remind myself of this already a few times I've had people say something negative.

I went to work this morning for 2 hours and was so weak by the time I got home, and I've really had no issues other than the shoulder pain. Probably just overdid it a bit. I guess there's a reason my doc said take 2 weeks off. Still so happy with my progress! 26 lbs down! -
Is this gas pain?
lotacls replied to Trooper Wifey's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My pain was immediately out of recovery and in my shoulders, never tachycardic. How are you feeling today? -
Just out of curiosity, are your mil and sil overweight? I've noticed the people in my family that are the least supportive are those that also have an issue with obesity. Their attitude has definitely thrown me for a loop, but I've decided I won't over share my excitement about this new chapter in my life. If they ask questions, I'll answer honestly, but I tend to curb my enthusaism. I hope in time, they might end up realizing that I have a much richer, healthier life and consider it an option for them as well.

I've noticed that I swallow a lot of air when I swallow liquid. It helps me to stand up or just reposition and I'm able to belch and it doesn't hurt to swallow. -

My sleeve was also 12/22/15 and I'm feeling exctly the same, Ready to move to the next "level" of mushies. I cannot believe how lucky I've been, no nausea or vomiting thus far. And I'm already able to tolerate hot and cold without side effects. I'm going to pick up some coconut Water tomorrow! -

My sleeve surgery was 12/22/15. Today has been the first day I've managed to drink even 1 Protein shake. I've had very little abdominal pain, but severe shoulder pain. I've been walking at least 15 minutes a day as the surgeon said it will help release the gas trapped in my upper back.
