  1. I had surgery on 10/9. I'm still struggling with what feels like "full/sated" vs eating/drinking enough to not be starving myself. Sometimes I feel the restriction, sometimes not. I think it's pretty common in the first month. As for stalls and weight fluctuations, yeah.. they're real. I've been hovering around this same weight for about a week or two now. I even told my wife I thought I broke my stomach because I couldn't feel a restriction.. until I tried something that felt like it scraped the walls of my sleeve going all the way down. ouch! I think a healthy dose of patience is the key. We are having to relearn what it means to eat all the way around, from taste to digestion. It's not going to happen overnight as we know. I have to keep reminding myself of this, too. Like the old cliche saying goes "Keep working the plan. It works.. if you work it"...

    weight

Everyone loses at different rates. Having patience and faith is a struggle, I know. The weight will come off as long as you're following your plan.

    Any PCOS sleevers?

I have PCOS as well. Just had surgery 10/9 so still too soon to know the effects. I can tell you that my period did start the day I got home from surgery which was 2 weeks earlier than normal and much heavier. Curious to see if/how it regulates. Following this thread. BTW, my wife had PCOS also and conceived a year and 100 pounds after her surgery date.
  4. I have PCOS, too, with monthly cycles. Mine started the day I came home from surgery, 2 weeks early and heavier than I can ever remember. I felt wonderful when it finally ended though, which seemed to coincide with my surgery swelling (or aggravated it).

    October sleevers

Please add me @ thefavoritedouglas@gmail.com Had surgery 10/09. The hernia repair slowed me down a bit, pain wise but now I'm doing pretty good. Feel great! It gets better.

    Fish on soft food died?

Taco Bell uses lard in their refried beans, or at least use to. Pork may be too harsh on your pouch right now as it is a food that is hard to digest for some ... Like me.
  7. I had sf pudding today. I took a couple (2-3) very small swipes off of the spoon. Moments later it felt like it expanded in my sleeve and I felt clogged up if that even makes sense. Pudding is thicker than soup. I will thin it down next time for sure. ????

    Protein shakes

@@thisfathasgot2go we had our surgery at about the same time, it appears. I was looking to see how far off or on track I've been with my protein drinks, etc. Meh, I'm slacking. I need to get in another shake. I had a hernia repair though and I think that pain is slowing me down a bit. Good info though!

    African American vsgers!

Hello! I just got sleeved on 10/9/15, exactly one year after my wife . I had a hiatal hernia repair, though. I was starting to think the pain I was experiencing was abnormal, but after scrolling, I see it's not. Ahhhh! I have noticed that it is decreasing in pain and frequency so I will take everyone's word that it will go away at some point. So, this is my sixth day out of surgery and fourth day home. I'm having trouble meeting my Fluid and Protein intake. I can get in about 45 oz of fluids which is broken up between 1 premade shake, flavored water and about 1/2 cup of Soup. That's a far cry from my physician's goal of 64 oz of fluids and 60 grams of protein. Where are you guys with your intake or can you recall what it was around this time after surgery?
