  1. My stall is over. Still losing slowly, but I am losing.
  2. I'm not an expert, only 19 days out, started with a BMI of 33, so on the lower end. I lost 7 pounds with my 5 day pre-op diet, and have only lost 9 pounds since surgery. I'm pretty bummed to be perfectly honest. I know I'm not getting enough Protein, and probably not enough calories so that is probably why. I don't really like the Protein shakes so I try to add Protein powder where I can. Last time my scale changed was at 1 week post op.
  3. I work days and it is just insane most days. I talked with a couple of ICU nurses today who only took a week off. They said oh it was fine, but then admitted they got really tired, more so than normal. I'm thinking 4 weeks. Anymore than that and I will either go stir crazy or never want to go back lol I'm healthy otherwise so I anticipate recovering well. At the same time, I want to heal properly and make sure I can handle those days.
  4. It's hard to stay hydrated on a regular day, so yeah, don't know how I would manage after this. I have plenty of PTO and sick time, have worked there for 13 years so I really shouldn't have any problem as long as the Dr. says I need 4-6 weeks.
  5. Keep the info coming! Fame are you already back at work? If so, how did that work for you going back at 3 weeks?
  6. I am newly scheduled for my surgery (sleeve) on January 5. My question is, how long should I be off work? I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts on a busy unit in the hospital. I am concerned about the fatigue, working those kinds of shifts. Any input is appreciated. Thank you and I'm very excited/nervous
