Lapband to Mini Gastric Bypass revision
Aussie Bloke posted a topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Hi All, Trevor here from Australia I had Lapland surgery in early 2010, I had good success with weight loss, but had lots of band complications, so I had a mini gastric bypass one week ago yesterday, currently I am not too heavy, I am weighing in at 112kgs (247lbs) just before the surgery last week, I had been down to 92 kgs (203lbs), I was at 104 kgs (224lbs) before the band was removed 3 months ago I am looking forward to continuing the journey but with a different route Registered here to listen to others experiences -
What "negatives" are you experiencing?

I am new to this entire forum, I am 2 weeks post lap band to MGB, I thought I would get some tips in here, but all I see is a bunch of bitching, as stated already this is the MGB section of the forum. I am a male, I am 58 years old and from Australia, people need to chill out and be supportive, isn't this what this forum is for - thanks, as you were!!!! If this bitching is the way this forum operates then I won't be around long, I am here for advice and support. (BTW, 'bloke' is Australian for male - ) -

Nutri-chew is a multiviatam available in Australia, my dietician recomends it as it has high levels of iron, it is chewable, you can buy it online as well I was using it when I had the lap band in, I stopped for a while as I thought I didn't need it, my iron dropped to buggery (which is really uncommon for men) and was really fatigued, I finished up having an iron infusion to get my iron back up -
Well done from Down Under
