My surgery was Monday and I feel fine for the most part. No pain, slight nausea. everytime I drink something my stomach does all this bubbling and it's uncomfortable and I burp. I'm also really turned off to food and drink. I know this to will pass. Just rough.

@@leahhindi the first week is the hardest when cutting everything out, I went through a sugar withdraw haha but now I don't really crave any of it and if I do I just step on the scale and it curbs my desire

I am 5'4 and currently weigh 237, when I started this in February I was 284 and I have lost 47 pounds from dieting and 17 from liquid diet...I think my bmi is 43 or something...i also am only doing shakes and water nothing else at all

@@Inner Surfer Girl, yeah 5 Atkins high protein shakes a day lol premier has too much protien they sajd

@@leahhindi my surgeons office told me no premier protien at all during the preop diet. They also told me no pudding. Only Atkins, jello, and broth. And no sugar at all. So the pudding could possibly be it. But you could just be losing slowly. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I don't think it's that serious to call the surgeons office. The pain goes away when I'm laying down or when I'm moving. Plus if I don't think about it I can't feel it. I think I'm a cry baby lol

so today makes 11 days on the liquid diet & it's been one hell of a ride. 3 days ago I developed a pain in my stomach, I'd say it's off center but half way down my belly more on my left. It's like an aching feeling. It only happens when I am sitting and otherwise I don't feel it at all. Im a little worried but has anyone else has a pain like this? Im sure it's from not eating but man!

I'm on day 11, the hunger is real. I'm exhausted all the time, and I've never wanted pizza more in my life. But it'll be over before you know it. Lots of naps & swear words.

@leahhinidi, wow! I wish I had your preop diet! Mine is broth, sugar free jello & Popsicles, and atkins shakes. I wish more were approved with mine because like ylu I'm having a hard time with the shakes! I hate broth and get nauseous after having jello/Popsicles. I've only met my protien requirement twice. ): thank god you found something that works for you! I am so excited for my first week post op! I can have a peanut butter smoothie with bananas in it & it's never sounded so great before lol

@@leahhindi hahaha that's great ! My 2 week liquid diet is AWFUL! I'm sooo tired and sleep every chance I get. But I luckily don't wake up lol, I have this god awful pain on my left side that hurts so much I want to scream. I'm irritable and even more emotional then normal. I'm so scared for this

Thanks guys! I know it'll be okay I just can't get over the after surgery. Then what happens those weeks your recovering.

My surgery is on May 9th too! I'm on day 4 of the liquid diet and am starving. Food makes my mouth water now. I've lost 10 pounds already. On day 2 I had a really bad headache and was feeling off. Today it's better but the crabbiness and tired are fully there. I wish you luck! If you want you can add me on fbook to talk! (:

There are two buttons, one on top and one on the front. It does tell you hours and mask seal and somethjng else with smileys. I'll have to call them and ask what is up!

So I've had the cpap less then 1 week, and 2 days after using it started to get a sore throat, the sore throat then turned into coughing a lot, and coughing is now a runny nose. I now have all three of those things and feel so blah! I am unsure if it is from the machine or if I am sick! I was fine the day I got the machine and this just started happening!

I have a resmed machine and I only use distilled water! The settings are on auto! I haven't chosen a level for the humidity...but the person told me to not change the settings or it won't be compliant for surgery....all the information is transmitted to the doctors and I can check my sleep score online every day....
