  1. Isn't it something like 80% of people gain the weight that they lost, back? Maybe it's even 90%... Either way - I know it's a small percentage of people that keep it off by doing it the "natural" way. So most likely your sister will gain it back, or at least some/most of it. The odds are kinda against her. So when (or if) that happens, you'll still be small, healthy and happy. Who knows, maybe then she will look into surgery! You didn't waste years with yet another yo-yo. You are smart to nip this in the bud now.. why wait? I wish I did my WLS in my 20's, it would've saved me many years of being uncomfortable in my own skin, being ashamed, humiliation, pain, and who knows what else! You're doing what's right for YOU and your future self and health. Doesnt it make more sense to do it now verses years down the road when you're way older and lost out on so much stuff due to your weight? At least now you don't (or may not) have weight related issues.... yet.... why wait until you develop these issues and then deal with your weight?! Think of all the misery and money you're gonna save by not getting obesity related health problems! This is a very responsible grown up decision, a decision a 27 year old is very capable of making! Good for you and good luck to you!

    Lap band removal

Hi, you didn't give a whole lot of background info... But anyways - Is this surgery new? How long ago did you have it done? What kinds of problems are you having? I know for me - I had to have mine removed in an emergent status so it was just booked by a general surgeon and it was taken out. I originally got my band done in Mexico but had it taken out here in British Columbia Canada, where I live and it eas covered under medical/insurance. I don't know where you live or how your insurance works but will it be covered if it need's to be taken out or repaired emergently?

    Care to share?

Aweeee thank you Dub! Yeah I'm still in cloud 9 regarding all the NSV'S in the last few days I have just very recently started to lose my hair too but I don't think it'll be bad. In all honesty I am not too worried about it. There are far more things to be (more) worried about and with the crap I went thru last year - this is nothin' babeeee If losing my hair means I'm losing weight, getting healthier and becoming the person I feel like on the inside, so be it. It's short term and it'll grow back - losing weight far "outweighs" losing hair, IMHO. no worries my friend! You got this! Don't sweat the small stuff! Keep doing awesome Heather
  11. Another NSV..... I fit into size 14's now!!! Wahoooooo This has been a good week!

I'd like to help answer your question('s ??) But I don't understand what you're asking.. Can you rephrase or reword it?
  14. And the hair loss is starting. ... A great NSV to my fear coming true.... I already had major hair loss back in June and July due to my DRESS syndrome, now I get to experience it again. *sigh* Oh well.. hopefully it won't be too too bad. ???? Now to the gym I go to sweat my ass off!
  15. Hi Dub! Your NSV is pretty darn awesome as well! Doesn't it make you feel lighter on your feet?!! It actually makes me feel a little more energized and makes me want to push more and do more! It's a tingle of motivation! A boost of energy! You keep being awesome and keep up the fantastic work!
  16. Life is pretty darn good these days! Thanks everyone!! Each day I get little bursts of motivation by either compliments, NSV's or by reading all of your inspirational posts! I can't wait to hit my next big milestone (onederland!) - which I'm hoping within the week And then the next one - 100 lbs lost and so on!!! Let's keep kicking butt everyone! We are all in this together!!! ????

  20. One thing I noticed is that you drink a lot of G2. There are some G2's that are extremely high in sugar. There's only 2 or 3 of them that are 6 gm or less - the rest are 30+ I'd have a look - who knows, maybe you're accidently consuming the wrong one! They all say "low sugar" or something to that effect but they actually aren't.

    Dates & Weights

Surgery date: September 21st 2015 Down: 70.8 lbs

    Shoe size

What's weird for me is the last few weeks my runners that I ALWAYS wear are too small and my big toes cramp up! It's so bad that I can't wear them. My toes are right to the edge and digging into the stitches. I have also found that my foot arches want to cramp up and charlie-horse every morning when I want to stretch. My calves do too! I wanna stretch darn it! Lol Off topic, sorry; but I guess I'm the odd one out - I think my feet got bigger!
