So yet again I find myself here talking about my ass.
heather5565 replied to winklie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh and @@heather5565 Jesus Christ with all those ass tools you should be able to pass anything. When I was erupting, I was shocked at what came out of my ass. I don't remember eating some of the stuff I saw. But then again, if a kitten had come out I doubt it would have shocked me. (Although said kitten would require years of intensive therapy to have any chance at a happy life) I would suggest what my PA told me, double doses or Miralax for a couple days, if that does not work, break out the MOM. Senokot is a bulking agent we are not supposed to take until 6+ months out. Don't ask me what a bulking agent is, I just know it's ass related and not on the approved list. I feel that with the impending threat of MOM my ass will stay the course and behave, if not.......... Well, at least it's over pretty quickly.\ Good luck! My bowels have been very very mean to me all week and the WORST this weekend. Apparently all of what I was taking sat and waited until it had a full army to attack the living sh*t out of my tummy and both large and small intestines. (Just for more information, I hadn't gone to the bathroom #2 in a week and I'm 11 weeks post op. I drink plenty of Water, exercise and try and get in some raw veggies. Of course it's hard as the a stomach is the size of an egg and Protein before veggies still at this stage) I've been bullied and beaten. By my own body. Hopefully tomorrow they will see that it's Dreaded Monday and will more nice and understanding. And cut me some slack! I couldn't get sweet pi*s all done today because I had to rush to the bathroom everyone 5 minutes! Note to self: Don't take 2 stool softeners twice a day, 2 fibre pills twice a day, Restoralax once a day, bran buds, 2 Senokot at night, MOM at night and expect to be okay! I was only doing it because thru out the week nothing was happening. But then all of a sudden i was getting crampy and bloated and well, felt Full! BOOM Number 2 showed up! And a Lot of it. Like all night and all day. Ok bum you're being quite annoying with your constant need for attention! Ya big baby! On a good note: tomorrow is my weigh in day.... maybe there will be benefits to such shall I dare say sh*tty weekend!?!?! -

Liquids as of 12/22 - WTH Am I Going to do at Christmas?
heather5565 replied to Birdy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh man worst time of year to start the pre op liquids! So sorry to hear that. But....it can be done. And you will do it. Wanna know why? Because this is a great oportunity and you're not gonna screw it up over baked goods or turkey. That stuff will be back at the next holiday. It's only this time you will have to be strong. Although be strong all other times too, but at least you won't be on straight liquids! You didn't mention why you're having the band out. Is it the first step to a band-to-bypass surgery or something? Band-to-sleeve? Or just getting the band out due to issues with it? You got this. You can do it. Just keep having this running thru your head, "it's no big deal. This isn't forever. It's only food. I'd much rather be happier, healthier and no food tastes as good as being fit and thinner feels" -

What can I do with...cottage cheese?
heather5565 replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in Regular foods (stage 4)
Apple, cinnamon, a dash of splenda brown sugar Yum! I grew up with cottage cheese being associated with sweet stuff (eg: added jam, fruit etc) It boggles my mind to see stuff like salt and pepper or salsa and tomatoes added! I have never had any of that with cottage cheese. Who knows, maybe I'll try it and actually like it! ???? -
20% Long-Term WL?
heather5565 replied to songsmith's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Are you sure you're not mixing up those statistics and read it backwards? I've read a lot and it even says on my surgeons website, (Plus he mentioned it too) that depending on what surgery you get - if a patient isn't diligent and careful that they can gain back 10-20% ish after 3-5 years or so with gastric bypass, and 30-50% with sleeve. Everyone will probably say some different numbers. But this was gaining back %'s if you're not careful. The success rate is up to 70- 100% (or more!) for weight loss in WLS patients. If you use this tool. Just be one of those patients that hit the 100%+ and beat the odds of gaining that 20% back in the future! I plan on being one of those patients! !! -

heather5565 replied to winklie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I never had to worry about this before ... but last night... I should NOT have trusted my fart. Omg I can't believe I'm telling you all this!!!! I blame it on you Winklie! You told me about MOM! at least it could be from the MOM. Or maybe it's from all of the following: MOM Senokot Stool softeners Restoralax Fibre pills Bran buds Omg who knows what my Bowels want for evacuation! I give it tons of Water and exercise! It should be a very happy bowel! My bowel is an asshole. -

Frikking FINALLY with the compliments!
heather5565 replied to itstimealready's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm sure they notice but may be too weirded out to say anything? Maybe they can see you've lost weight but don't know how to ask without somehow offending you...? Maybe they're thinking "what if I ask her if she's lost weight but she hasnt" So maybe they're just playing it safe for now until they know for sure I'm sure you look great with 80 pounds gone!! -

Old bestfriend Is back, and hes married..
heather5565 replied to ZombieQueen's topic in The Gals' Room
He's looking to cheat for sure. If he has intentions of being with you and leaving his wife.. then maybe..? But if I were you, I'd say goodbye. It sounds sketchy and unstable. It's been 3 days and he's already saying stuff like that so yeah, I'd say he's actively looking to be a bad boy. -

heather5565 replied to winklie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just laughed out loud! You and your ass really need to start getting along! Although I admit... me and my ass have not discussed a schedule of evacuation or anything. I eat bran buds, I take stool softeners, I take fibre pills, I occasionally use suppositories and I toot, but actual evacuation of ???? rarely happens. Where in the hell does it go?!?!?! I am forever full of poo! Sorry, TMI. I never have diarrhea, it's always the opposite! I go a week without having a BM and then the suppositories have to be brought out. I should look into this MOM stuff. Clearly we (me and my bum) need to have some MOM our lives. -

It's getting mighty brrrrrrr here in BC Canada!!! -20 right now. I turn on my heated mattress pad hours before bed! We just bought a new vehicle yesterday (2016 Sante Fe ????) and the BEST feature it has is a HEATED STEERING WHEEL!!!!!! (And of course heated seats too!)

My Fitness Pal Premium
heather5565 replied to thinner-me's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I paid for the premium. I figured it was worth it since I'm on it every single day. (sometimes multiple) The advertising was super annoying so that was nice to get rid of. You get more information regarding your intake etc too. If you want to add me: HeatherKNelson -
How about some NSVs!?!?
heather5565 replied to shyanne's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I crossed my legs yesterday! I did it without even thinking, like I've always been able to! And this morning I bent right down to the floor to look at chart on the bottom shelf. AND I was able to stand back up! I haven't done that it in years! I was never able to do that 10 weeks ago! This surgery was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'm so happy to see the changes -
