Dear Goof: To use your ONE to track sleep you hold down the little button until it's timing. Turn it on when you lay down for the night and turn it off (the same way) when you're ready to get out of bed the next morning Rise and shine!! Yours truly, Bo Beather P.S. I wore my ONE clipped to my ???? or ???? (closest I could get to a BRA lol) for 2.5 years straight without it ever falling off.... just a little FYI for your goofy self. ☺

Do you use tools like My Fitness Pal, Fitbit, etc?
heather5565 replied to Balance's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Mfp and fitbit! I use both religiously. -
You can track your sleep with the ONE. It should've come with a wrist strap... unless they don't anymore..? And why not wear your fitbit ONE attached to the rim of your pants? Or attached to the inside of a pocket? This way you will be wearing it at all times. If you do a lot of walking at work, (which I think I remember you saying you do) then it would be interesting to see how much walking you do during your shift.

Valentine's Day Weight Loss Challenge
heather5565 replied to vsgSarah3's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Today's weight 209.0 Gw 204.9 That's Sarah! -
I don't have any pointers or tips but you sound very motivated to finish this journey! Good for you! You're human! You sound like you know exactly what you need to do to get this done! That's great that your head is outta the sand.. must've been quite suffocating, and well, sandy! Haha I'll be your silent cheerleader from Canada! You got this! I get motivated constantly by checking out this site so I guess I have that as a tip...! I also find that when I look at photos back when I was at my smallest, fitessed and healthiest, that it motivates me to give it "that little bit of extra" Example: I'll look at photos and then when I'm exercising I think of them and how I want to get back there. (And beyond ????) Anyways, good luck!!! Heather

The One Thing No One Tells You About Losing Weight
heather5565 replied to WL WARRIOR's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Possible note to self about this Rodan & Fields product! I already do feel like I look older and can see it a bit in my neck. But I still have a lot to lose and I'm also on a medication that changes the shape of your face. (And it has for me. When I weighed this weight in the past - I had a skinny long face and I don't this time. It's smaller, yes but my cheekbones are still hiding and I have jowls! Nobody agrees with me on this but I swear I do!) -
Oh my goodness! Take care! Get those antibiotics in ya! Probably not the way you were expecting to drop weight so fast but hey, it works and it would've come off anyway! Just get better please!

360+ pounds?!? help!
heather5565 replied to allyrenee's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
You are a rock star! Wow! You've worked so hard at all angles and very single issue! Anyrhing that has come at you - you fought back and conquered! You are a true true inspiration and let us all learn a little something extra from you! You should take a very proud bow my friend, for you are what we all try to be or achieve or become! Just wow! Also, good read and information you provided. All good points. I am 3.5 months post op and have never dumped. I haven't put anything in my body to even have that chance of that happening. I'm no saying that I never will because I am human and I'm sure I will sometime down the road. -
Great post! M-o-t-i-v-a-t-i-n-g!!! You look great and congratulations!

Advice that makes you crazy.
heather5565 replied to RoscoColetrain's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
There's one lady at my work that asks specific weight loss #'s. It is a little awkward but I'll admit that she is my biggest cheerleader and rooting for me everyday! She's a sweet lady so I tell her. She compliments me all the time. I have to say I haven't had not a single other person (friend or family member) ask me specifics yet. If it comes tho I'll probably tell them. If it's someone I don't care for them to know the exact # - I'll probably just say "oh I don't know exact, I haven't weighed myself in a while" Although I will know exactly because I probably weighed myself like 5 seconds ago) HAHA I do like the idea (when I get that far) to say I've lost a hobbit or an 8 year old or an Olsen twin ... -

You definitely have bragging rights! That is a super big deal! I'd be smiling and bragging too! P.S. it's not bragging. Lol I'm so happy for you! Congratulations!!!!!! -
This is my worry..... I'm on Ursodiol until I hit the 6 month mark (I'm just over 3 now) - I just know this will be my destiny ... hahaha but it's a no big deal surgery, so if it happens, it happens. Good luck to you and I wish you a speedy recovery with zero pain Let us know how it goes ok!

R.I.C.E R - rest I - ice C- complain. I kid! Compression E - elevate Take a Tylenol for Arthritis (?) Take an anti-inflammatory (NSAID) - just don't do it often or everyday. Rub some Voltaren (Diclofenic) on, this is a topical anti-inflammatory. Can you take that? Or A5-35 Or something like that? Just think how much worse it would be with that extra 85+ pounds..... Don't think of the negative, think of the positive...you've done so well and yes, have had a minor set back (swollen painful knee) but you're looking and must be feeling so much healthier, right!?!?! Happy Holidays to you and take care of that knee!
