    For those who have PCOS

Hey Guys, WOW! I can't believe I found a thread so specific to my needs. I love this. I also, have the Sasquach syndrome. My Dr. tried me on the Metformin but after 5 mos. and a visit to the proctologist I said goodbye to that pill. My body never could adjust to it. I was banded back in November but I have noticed my PCOS symptoms getting worse. Has anyone else had this problem? My depression is terrible too. I think I'm going to have to go to the Dr. and have my antidepressant changed because I just can't seem to pull out of it.:blushing: It's so great to meet you guys!

    Slow Losers Unite!

I started out going to the gym, but found that I made every excuse in the world not to go. In the morning I have to put my preschooler on the special ed. bus, so I have to be dressed and standing outside anyway. I have no excuse than to just start walking as soon as that bus pulls away. It has created a nice workout schedule that I can't make excuses for. I have to go out or Liam doesn't get to go to school. It's great accountability! I'm doing well since my second fill, I have lost 4 lbs. in three weeks!! I thought I'd NEVER start losing again. I would put a ticker tape at the bottom of my post but I just can't figure out how to get it there. I've been to the website, but then I get lost.:tt2: I'm such a moron...

    DFW "meet up"

Hey everyone, I am very interested in meeting, also. Has anyone set up a meeting? I see lots of suggestions but no definate meeting plans. How many times can I say meeting? LOL. I have no preference. Any place, any time, to meet some fellow banders and share support.

    Slow Losers Unite!

Hello Everyone, I am new to this thread. I think I'm a slow loser. I wouldn't be if I would make better food choices, probably. But, I am still trying to find that self-destruct switch to turn it off. I'll let ya know if I find it. Anyhoo, just been doing this thing on my own and only yesterday checked this out and found a LOT of support. You guys have really motivated me. I felt that since I wasn't losing much then I must have failed at this along with every other diet and sceme to lose weight. You know, you try so many things before coming to the band it gets ingrained in your head that this will fail too. I am sooo glad to find you guys. I was walking every morning and God "blessed" me with a Plantars wart on the bottom of my foot. I have had to have it frozen off three times and needless to say it has put a damper on the walking. Does anyone have some suggestions for excersice in the house? I will be back to walking in about a week, but I would like to get some excersice somehow.

    Crust-less Spinach Quiche

Hey Debbie, I just posted a recipe for Ratatouille. You should try it. When I first saw the recipe I thought It sounded healthy but not that appitizing but since I have to start eating better, I gave it a try and it tasted great.

    Crust-less Spinach Quiche

I will try it with the eggbeaters and let everyone know how it turns out. You know, sometimes that stuff doesn't cook right like the good wholesome God made food like REAL, whole eggs.

Chopped Canadian bacon would be a low-fat alternative to the crumbled bacon. Could you use eggbeaters instead of regular eggs?
