Well tomorrow will be 6 months for us. How are you doing? I'm down 50 and feeling like I've been reborn. Exercise is so much easier and I'm trying different classes at the gym now. Zumba, training, elliptical, treadmill. Want to try a yoga and kickboxing next. Hope all of my fellow sleeves are doing well. Happy Spring. ????????????

Byebyefat. Question. I'm not very familiar with this site yet. How do you copy my reply then reply to it? I mis-spoke. I was deficient in A & B12. Not K as I said earlier. You will stalk fire a little bit and then start losing again. Are you exercising yet? Just move. Even if it's only 15 min.a day. Push yourself. Yolk be glad you did. Trust me. You will feel better physically and emotionally too. ???? XO ????

Don't compare yourself to other people byebyefat. Your journey is yours alone. Since my last reply I'm down about another 15 lbs. The total is about 46 now since my 9/14 surgery. How your doing well. I am exercising more now. The wit is coming odd showy and that's fine with me. My SW was 234. My CW is 187. Don't want to lose much more. I feel great. My hair is coming back. I was low in Vitamins A & K. Was laying hair by the handfuls but now I think it's normal again and my hairdresser told me today she sees lots of regrowth. Thank Gawd! How is everyone doing? I haven't been on here in a while.

I want to wish you much success on your journey. My SW was 234. SD was 9/14. CW is 198 as of this morning. It sounds like you have a great attitude. My suggestion to you would be don't be afraid to move after the surgery. Get up as soon as you can. After about 3 days the heartburn will go away. Promise. Just move! You got this. Be kind to yourself. Keep us updated on your progress. Livvsmum thanks for book recommendation to. I'm going to get that and read it for sure. ???? -
Mine was also the 14 th. How are you don't Robin? ????

I was sleeved on 9/14 & doing great. SW 234. As of today 198. I took 2 weeks of from work. Glad I did. I'm eating very small amount. The only is I get now is gas. No diarrhea. I've heard people say that a lot. Constipated in the beginning but that subsided now that I've incorporated more variety of foods into my diet. I really have no complaints except I need a new wardrobe. ????

Hope it went well for you

Hope you guys did well. -
I had mine done on 9/14/15. I'm down about 35 lbs. None of my clothes fit. I haven't had any issues except for constipation but now that I'm incorporating more of a variety of foods I'm more regular. No diarrhea. I do get write gassy though and stinky ones at that. Hope your doing better
-
Sorry.. That should my only side affect was CONSTIPATION!
-
I'm 5 weeks out and my only side affects consultation also. Try adding some spinach & flax seed (ground) to your shake. That really helped me. Sounds like you are over the max with your protein which is probably the cause. I've lost 22 since my surgery on 9/14/15. Good luck. ????

Is the same way after 4 days. It WILL get better. I am 5 wks out and still struggling a little bit. I can only east about 3oz. of food at a time. It's a real adjustment. I have incorporated some seeds and veggies now but you are no where near ready. Make sure you drink enough. I know it's tough right now but it really does get better. Baby steps. Get yourself some stool softener. More that likely you will be constipated with the amount of protein you are trying to get on right now. Hope I helped. ????

I have no restriction 2 1/2 weeks out, can eat normal portions. WHY?!
Kikiboy replied to Nomorethickchick's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 4 wks out and the most I can eat is 3oz. before I am full. I eat very, very slowly. You need to recognize the feeling of being full. Eat very slow and you will feel full. Don't test yourself. Stick to the program.. Good luck. I was sleeved on 9/14. SW was 234 at the hospital. Today I weighed in at 215
