My surgeon said one week

Hi coley! Hope you are doing well! It does feel so good to sleep on side. Be careful eating eggs my surgeon said no eggs on our plan for eight weeks because they can cause obstruction easily. Hope everyone is healing quickly!

My 2nd day back at work and feeling great, how is everyone doing? I am sure looking forward to my stage 3 foods buts that not for awhile!

Lucky, I can't have cottage cheese for another week!

I also drink premiere protein, but I also have a non flavored protein powder called genepro that I can put into anything like soups, or crystal light that I love. One small scoop is 30 grams of protein.

Went to church today, Happy Easter everyone. Sorry to hear everyone is so tired, but pain meds can make you really tired and sleepy. Also because of liquid diet calories are really low! I go back to work tomorrow so I think it will be a long day for me.

I think everyone has that thought, I remember the day of surgery I thought that too. I really do feel a lot better everyday. It will only be a short time, you will feel better soon!

I hope you feel better soon, get a lot of rest that will help for sure! I really am surprised how great I feel, I do go back to work on Monday, so I am glad I am healing quickly! Are you excited Craig?

So happy to hear you are back at home. Our new life.....walk, walk, walk, and sip sip sip. It's amazing that I'm not hungry at all. Just liquids until Friday for me; what about you.

I will pray for you, they sound like they are being very careful and that is good. If they find any issues early the outcome is so much better. My surgeon just called me at home, to check up on me, love him welcome home jstachic!

Just got home from Kiaser, feeling great! Can't wait until all the belly swelling goes away. Love love my Tylenol with codine. Glad you are doing well!! Are any of you home yet?

I have so many emotions going through my head right now, Kiaser hospital called me today and told me my surgery is Monday at 10:20am and I am so excited and yet so scared. I just can't stop thinking about the two ladies in support group that recently went through surgery, one is in ICU now fighting for her life one day after surgery for an infection and the other just passed away yesterday two days after surgery, I have shed many tears. [emoji26]

I am out of surgery and doing well. The pain meds are wonderful so I am not experiencing much pain. No nausea, I asked for the patch. I love the ice chips, I just tried to walk to the bathroom and got really dizzy, I need to take it slower. The staff here at Kiaser are amazing!

@@LoriAnn35 they both had complications from the surgery, I believe it was septic shock/infection. She was young with kids. I just saw her funeral announcement today[emoji22]. Thank you for that beautiful prayer!

How is everyone doing today? I still need to pack too, but not going to take a lot with me.

Great idea on braiding your hair! How much did you have to lose before surgery? I have lost almost 20lbs. I hope to be at 245lbs or below on day of surgery.
