  1. Hi, I got sleeved 5th September. Apart from severe nausea first few months especially whenever I had business trips all well so far and nearly at my ideal weight. Still find it hard to eat well when away from home. I find I get extreme fatigue and palpitations after eating. Is this normal? I understand the fatigue is just the blood running to my tummy but should I be worried about the palpitations? My surgeon run blood tests and although I am slightly low on insulin he says it will correct itself in time and not to take any medication for it yet. Any advice? Thank you!!

Sleeved Oct 13 just now having nausea

Sleeved 4th September and my nausea is worse than ever. Told Surgeon who wasn't worried about it and told me to make sure I eat slowly. I definitely can't tolerate any strong foods- not even tasting them and if I let myself too hungry, I can't keep anything down. Apparently it will just disappear one day or so I am told by other sleepers. Can't wait! Good luck and hope you feel better soon too

    Holiday/ vacation woes

It's good to read this post as I was just feeling down about being away from home in lovely places and going out for meals and drinks with friends and sitting back after 2 bites, feeling a bit embarrassed about leaving so much food behind and then feeling exhausted and wanting to go home. I usually was the life of the party at dinner tables- enjoying all good and drink on offer and now I concentrate on not feeling nausea. It's a real adjustment. I was sleeved 4th September by the way. When does it get easier?
  5. Glad to see this post as I worry all the time about regain too. I still find it very difficult to weigh myself and put it off not believing I am still losing (sleeved 4th September). So many years of disappointing weighs after all the past best intentions on diets!
  6. The more I dieted the more I put on. The constant struggle of deprivation and disappointment as my scales kept rising. Numerous visits to Dr's who would shrug their shoulders suggesting I "eat healthy, do more exercise". I've been on and off a diet since I was 9 and climb mountains but the scales had a mind of their own. Chronic back pain started, skin issues, unable to sleep comfortably, buying clothes every 2 weeks, pressure from people I do business with asking me all the time about the weight gain, not wearing high heels, feeling tired. Final straw watching myself walk in my underwear on a video for an Ostepath and not recognising that person on the screen carrying all that extra weight.
