Hello!
I am so thankful to find this Forum! My sister recommended it as I've struggled to find my groove a bit post surgery. But, let me say that I am soooooo thrilled about the hope I feel and am experiencing as a result of the sleeve I received Sept. 9, 2015. Ahhhhh…. A life set now for better health, a pain-free back and hip that I hope to keep that way with weight loss, and the promise of all the things I can do with my daughter - ropes courses, skiing, roller coasters…so fun!!!
My first bariatric experience was the lap band I had placed in Sept. 2006. It was truly the worst mistake of my life!! I had it totally deflated because I threw up everyday for all of these years. Yuck!!! I learned in 2013 that my lap band was 1 cm in circumference and it was twisted. Well…duh…No wonder I've struggled so much. So, now I can enjoy life not feeling worried about what will make me throw up everyday. Crazy.
I am looking forward to learning what to look forward to as I walk this new path. I am also happy to share and encourage others.
Hugs and best of luck to us all!
