    Pizza

Try Palermo frozen pizza, ranges from 250 to 310 per serving(1/3 pizza) depending on style. It is a very thin crust and carbs are low for pizza. I usually can't do 1/3 so I cut in to 1/4's (while it's still frozen and freeze the rest) for a slightly smaller portion and lower calories and carbs. I'll usually have once a week as a treat. Not in every store but you can search for a store on there website. Sent from my Nexus 6 using BariatricPal

    Loosing weight way too fast

20 lbs in your first 10 days is not uncommon depending on your starting weight, try not to over do it until you start getting all your Protein and Water in. You need to make sure you get that in so you can heal, once you start getting all your protein and water in you will start healing and getting more energy. Sent from my Nexus 6 using BariatricPal
  7. From Atlanta, GA but sleeved in Anniston, AL by Dr. Clifford Black.
  8. In Atlanta it runs about $13K
  9. Thanks, interesting reading!
  10. Just curious, Can anyone explain what is balloon and used for, never heard of it .
  11. I have an email from Dari stating that. Do you think that will suffice? If possible try to get something from insurance company or hopefully your HR rep may have email from insurance Co.
  12. Send a message to a admit or moderator and they should be able to help you out.
  13. Try to get something in writing regarding the waiver so you don't run into issues down the road.

    TACO BELL it is

The OPs profile says she had surgery in January. She should most definitely NOT be eating a hard shell taco yet. I agree 100%, I was talking about nutritional content in general and what I do on occasion. I usually don't going looking at profiles while not a bad idea. Looking at profiles through the android app doesn't give sleeve date information. I know the desktop site has more info.

    TACO BELL it is

All depends what you have, a regular hard shell taco is not horrible as far as the nutritional information goes, I have del taco which is similar to taco bell just better in my opinion. I just make sure I chew very well.
  16. I'm 8 weeks post op and as a new years resolution I wanted to make a better attempt in logging my meals. I have been doing a pretty good job and have been logging at the after cooked weight. I was thinking if I should be logging by the before cooked weight. It will boost my calories but also boost my protein. Any idea which way is correct?

    Deciding to go to Mexico

I will say I had the same thoughts as your mother until I came to this forum. If I hadn't already started down my path I wouldn't have thought twice about going to Mexico,. You may have your mom browse this forum and read about the experiences people have had, it may be enough to change her mind. Or just tell her your going to spring break in Mexico.....j Just kidding that wouldn't be nice. Best of luck on which ever way you decide. It's definitely life changing experience.
  18. I did the ready made premier protein, costs a little more but found it so much easier.
  19. I actually had sleeve (self pay) and Hernia (insurance covered). I was a little surprised when my surgeon's PA put in claim for surgery assistance, my insurance paid the $800 claim as in-network and paid the PA $77.00 as this was the in-network negotiated rate. With that I think the $3500. is a scam . how much assistance do they really need for a 45 minute surgery.
  20. I got to be honest you look great and I would have thought you lost more,. I'm 8 weeks post op and down 53 lbs and don't look as good but I'm only 5'7", how tall are you if you don't mind my asking?
  21. I'm a supervisor and spend half the time at my desk and the other half on my feet, lots of up and down. I had surgery on a Tuesday and back at work on Monday. First week was tough but not impossible by no means, if getting time off isn't an issue take the 2 weeks.

    360+ pounds?!? help!

You will have great success with either surgery. With the sleeve i have good restriction and feeling of fullness. With bypass you also have malabsorption and dumping same here and same reasons I chose sleeve over bypass.
