Hi, I am a month out from The bypass and I had a lot of complications over the last month. My question is I feel awful everyday, I am having the hardest time forcing down liquid. I can get down like 20oz and in so full. I know if I get more down and some purée food I will feel better in just struggling big time!

I am having the hardest time getting fluid or food down and feel sick all the time. Regretting this big time. I am four weeks post op bypass. This is horrible. I thought it was supposed to better my life! Not make it worse!

Anyone having bad anxiety? I can't even function! Horrible panic attacks! ????

Yes always have had it but it 100 times worse now!

@karenF1972. How long did you feel like that? Mine will not stop, I can't get down any protein and having a horrible time. Having terrible panic attacks cause if it! I am so sad!

@@Cervidae thank you! I did have some complications after the surgery, but I think my anxiety is the worst part. I have headaches all day and I am dizzy and feel like my heart is racing like a horse! Scares me!!

Hi. What does everyone take for headaches and what not.... I use to take Advil everyday but I don't think I can anymore? Ideas? Thank you!

Ok so, sorry to keep at this but I am so lightheaded and feel awful. Have been sipping on water all day and now a Powerade zero. What gives!! -

I had bypass. It's just crazy cause I feel so awful! I know I need to get up and walk and sip but I can't even get 1 bottle of water down a day. -

Thanks. I am only 6 days home from hospital and just so thirsty but everything hurts and sick to my stomach. Don't want to take pain meds cause they make me sick too! ???? -

I had my surgery last Wednesday, just super nausea! I hate pain meds! When I feel sick I use to just sip on a ginerale. I am regretting this. This sucks!! -
Does anyone make smoothies? How to make them if we can't have sugar? Hahahah

@@cjscarlet thank you for finding that out. I had a hernia repair too, and my esophagus is so sore, even from water!! Thanks for confirming that I am not crazy! Hahahahjaaj -
I have been walking and everything and i feel awful! Really regretting this. To late now.......all the meds make me sick too!

Only home two days and pills are getting stuck, that are so small. I am so scared!! What if everything gets stuck! Feels like even water is getting stuck.

So I am on my 2nd day and I am having some pudding in the hospital, Feel stuck, is that just cause I still have so much has or will it always feel like this?

@@Cervidae thank you!!!!! I am scared to even drink water, I have had one bottle water since yesterday! I don't want to seem like I am complaining, cause I do want a new life just scared I guess! Seeing everyone eat around me is hard too! Not that I am hungry. Feel to yucky for that but just the thought!!!
