    This all happened so quickly! I had my first appt on 8/28, and now surg on 10/19! I am feeling every emotion possible. This is a big step for me, and something I have dreamed about for 20 years!! (maybe lots more). I was not required by insurance to take more than one nutrition class, so I feel like I'm missing out on some good info. I would love a buddy!

    How are you all doing? I'm good 20# gone post op....but, my vitamins are killing me. I hate the taste and they make me nauseous!

    I'm 5days post op, and things are good! I'm feeling well enough to sing in choir tomorrow! I am keeping things down, not much pain....God is good!

    I keep hearing this over and over...my sleeve date is 10/19. But, what if I'm happy with my life, just not my weight? I've got a great husband, 4 great kids, a job I love, a very cool church family.... So basically my life is good... Except for food. I have used it for every emotion possible. There are so many good things in my life that I'm nervous will change now. Can anyone relate?

    I got, from a woman whose waist is the same size as my thigh, "but you aren't fat." I'm not a doctor, but sweet friend, please have your vision checked. Also, "are you sure you can give up real food?" Because whoppers and french fries grow in a garden? Huh???
