I'm freezing all the time. The more I lose the colder I get. I was told eventually you return to normal and it doesn't bother you. I sure hope so.

You look great. I think you also lost 10 yrs in your look. Fantastic job -
The strawberry is my favorite. It's the only Greek yogurt I like.

My Dr told me the only reason they tell you that is because they want you to try to get your full 4 oz of proteins in, also some people get very uncomfortable if they drink and eat. I've never had an issue. This rule I do not follow.

lorri716 replied to kristenkek's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
You will be able to eat normal food in just a few short weeks. NSV means non scale victories. Hang in there. -

lorri716 replied to Castillo15's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You need to remember that without the liquid diet there may not be a surgery. That is what pushed me to get me through it. Yogurt sugar free jello broth protein shakes will get you through. You can do it. Stop thinking about it. -
well..maybe there is hope for "real life" meeting someone

Let me start by saying kudos to you for getting back in the game of dating. The married guy, well he's an ass. The lame dresser, he might just be the one. He just might need some help in the clothing dept. He might be a shabby sheik prince charming, don't give up on him. And as for getting serious about someone, date around see what's out there, you are still young. Like e life to the fullest. -
I am having the puffy fingers issue ask I type. I too am very sensitive with salt. I must've had more than normal yesterday or maybe my arthritis is in a flare up. The best thing to do is keep hydrated. It flushes out the sodium.

I was laying in bed today, (it's my day off) I was reading some posts and came across one that motivated me enough to get me out of bed at 7 and go do a 40 min workout. I was going to do the workout anyways but I was putting it off until later. Today is my double workout day...God help me. I've decided that I need to change things up for myself. I have already gotten in my 3 days of workouts that I require myself to do and still have 3 days left. I do believe I'll get in 5 days atleast this week. It's been a long time since I've done 5 days straight. I love to workout, I just let my life get in the way. Well not anymore. I know that if I want to reach my goal weight by my 41st birthday in July I need to get moving. My body is screaming at me for using muscles I haven't used in years, but I don't care. If I can move I'm moving this body. No amount of arthritis is stopping me now. Nor is my weight for that matter. This is my year. I normally don't think about myself so much as I do everyone else, but when I turned 40 I decided all that was gonna change. Let's talk about me!
