I'm still pre op. I don't have my surgery until December. However I quit smoking in June because first I was tired of smoking and two I heard it wasn't good to smoke if I'm gonna have surgery. I have gained ten pounds during my 6 month diet documentation per my insurance. My doctor hadn't said anything and my insurance didn't say I had to lose weight before surgery. But maaaannnn I swear I didn't want to gain during this time.

Well I work for an automotive company and I haven't started working out yet because I have atrial fibrillation and my doctors don't want me to go back into again before surgery. I thought by being active at work that would be enough exercise. But apparently not. I think I'm gonna incorporate some extra walking. It took me two months to put on the extra pounds after quitting smoking. But I'm gonna continue to try. It's just so difficult at times and now that food tastes better since I quit smoking it's even harder to push back from the table.

I'm so excited I am almost finished with my 6 month medical documenting per my insurance company. I go for my pre op class Oct 7th!!! Im excited and nervous. Any fb groups for December sleevers?!?!
