Thanks, this was truly helpful. I know I am not at the point where I can eat any of that, but I just had to know. -

Will I ever be able to eat Pizza again?
ThickFit504 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am just a little over 2 weeks out and I have been doing well with fighting the cravings, but really sad about the things I did not eat before my surgery. I just want to know, will I ever be able to eat the things I love again, like will I be able to physically digest it? And this question is for people 2 months or more post-surgery. Will I ever get down a slice of pizza again, what about just the toppings, or a piece of fried chicken or fish, or a hamburger including the bun. I am not saying that I want to eat this things on a regular basis, I really have no desire to, but will I ever be able to eat it once in a blue moon?? Personal experiences are very helpful. Thanks. -

10wks out rant and whine and vent

I saw that you posted something about ranting and I just want to ask you, Do you ever have a cheap meal? Like have you eaten a piece of fried food or something you are craving since your surgery. The reason I am asking, we have close to the same starting weight, I was about 10 lbs heavier, we are the same height. And I would like to be where you are 3 months out. I am just 2 weeks out and I have lost 21.4 lbs, I would like to stay on track but I know when I start solids it will be harder to fight the small cravings. So if you do have a cheap snack or meal, please let me know. Thanks. -

Those of you 1 month out, how do you feel now?
ThickFit504 replied to jobillandjosh's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am so glad that you posted this because I am just trying to figure out when I will feel normal again. I am just 4 days out. I don't have much pain. My incision give me a little pain and every now and then I feel an aching in my stomach, but other then that I feel pretty good. But I am taking it easy because I am afraid of leaks etc. I can't really get much down at all. I am very excited about my future but I just want to feel normal and able to eat less.
