Yes that is since surgery. It has slowed down a lot. I see other people saying they lost more and it gets me scared.

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I am 5 months post surgery and down 62 pounds. I am very excited but scared it should be more? Also, do you all have "DAYS" where you just wanna eat and eat? It is like you can't get full. Thank you all so much!

Thank yall! I'm only allowed stuff like G2 Gatorade, fat free broth, decaffeinated tea with splenda, Jello which I hate but I am sure I will love lol. Protein drinks and that is pretty much it... I keep telling myself I will get thru this!!!

Just received call that surgery is May 10th. So scared I won't be able to do this week of liquids only!!!!

I was FINALLY approved for the sleeve!! I am happy but nervous/scared...............Any tips advice? Scared about the week prior of no eating but liquids, etc. Figured I need to go tomorrow for Vitamins and Protein stuff. Any suggestions on any of these??/ Thank you all so much!

I am from Alabama! Still going thru the process, no surgery date yet.... Patience is definitely key lol!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well.... I had my psy eval a couple of weeks ago, thought everything went well.. He stated I was a prime candidate and that he didn't see no reason why I couldn't have this done by the end of the year.... Well.....................yesterday I called the surgeon to see how the progress was going and she said - you haven't been cleared on the psy evaluation... I was so surprised and confused. I told her what they said to me and she said for me to call them. I called them twice they finally called me back and wouldn't tell my anything over the phone just kept saying for me to come back and everyday I could come back they couldn't see me. I called the surgeon back and asked if I should just forget the surgery and she said NO!!! First I am just newly divorced and have a lot of that stuff going on. But I am NOT crazy and that is what this is making me feel like. I don't know rather to just give up or if it is possible for me to have a new doctor do an evaluation... Any advice is appreciated. Feeling pretty down now... If they said I was depressed, I definitely am NOW!

Has anyone ever had this insurance? Curious how long approval is and if there is 3 month period..

I have recently decided to have surgery. After battling weight issues for 21 years, I know I need to do something. I met with the surgeon yesterday, was very nice. Waiting on insurance, I have BCBS of Alabama. I am scared, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Would love to know how long it took for insurance to verify and any tips ya'll can give me! Thank you!
