Not feeling full? Just got sleeved?
centlove8 replied to pamelardz91's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Yes Babbs can agree with your experience and when you feel the restrictions you might be in extreme pain so take it easy Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk -
You know I think everyone has felt happy and scared at the same time with getting the sleeve and I can honestly tell you the only way you can fail is if you eat 25/7 to make up for the lost of your other half of your stomach. I can also tell you that with my stomach half gone it seems like there is a switch that got turned off and food is no longer a main thing for me. You will conquer this like you have for every thing that has ever gotten in your way. Take the February 1 date in stride you got this Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

Before being sleeved how slices of pizza could you eat, and after how many?
centlove8 replied to Scottyd1264's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I had the lapband not filled due to it not working and I could eat 2 yo three slices now I can eat about 2 to three bites of one big slice Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk -
Okay I am going to carefully ask you to take a couple of breaths.................... It is going to be okay............. I think you are being to hard on yourself. ..................... When we get hung up on how long we stall and our weight fluctuations we go to the extremes....... I had my surgery 10/5/15 I'm 2 months and 3 or 4 days out............... My doctor thinks I'm doing great he said just watch your eating. Ask are you getting full quick ?Are you listening to your body? He said the weight will come off I started at 295 ...... stayed at 265 for well over 3 weeks I added more walking /cardio and don't get hung up on my weight because it took more than 1 month to pack all this weight on so it going to take me sometime......... This decision took over a year to make to even get another surgical procedure from the failed lapband........ I know you are beating your self up but take it one day at a time wls will take time................. Nice meeting you take it easy it does get better. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

To Tell or Not to Tell?!?
centlove8 replied to tallow2102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Yeah, depending on what type of person you are. And if you do not care what anyone says about this surgery do as you please. However , if you wear your heart on your sleeve keep your business to yourself. I find that I have to ignore or tell people what they can kiss. Cause I didn't ask for anyone opinion or permission that shuts them down completely. Lol Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk -

Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?
centlove8 replied to MarciaN's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just did the same thing as you last Thursday. I had a rough night sleeping that night. Kept waking up with intense burning in my throat. But then by the next day I was over it all. If you have trouble on the night, sleep sitting up as much as you can. It will help! Good luck!Yeah I call that elephant on the chest you will do that a couple of times before you get the hang of tooo much Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk -

Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?
centlove8 replied to MarciaN's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't think you call it a stall if you stay the same weight for a couple of days and you just had the surgery. I think everyone should stop putting so much pressure on your selves. The weight will come off as long as you are doing it right. Not eating taking your meds anything that is done to maybe loose the weight quick can cause a stall. So slow and steady will win the race. -
Loose skin fear!
centlove8 replied to jessmarie0122's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The consensus on loose skin has been slow and steady with excersize will help you no be too saggy but everyone will have some areas of loose skin you will have to just see where you are in the race of wl. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk -

Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?
centlove8 replied to MarciaN's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I took stool softner and ended up going 4th day out. -
October 5 is my date I am desperately waiting patiently(oxymoron, I know). Pre op diet is not that bad I'm doing crystal light and non starchy veggies with salads and fat free dressing. then 2 days before clear liquid diet and I will be on my way to WLS victory. My SW 298 before preoperative diet. I been looking at YouTube and most of the Vsg people say don't re introduce carbs back in your life and have a excersize routine. What do guys think?
