Everyone loses weight differently. I was able to wear my pre op jeans for 7 weeks after surgery & then moved down a size. I've even heard of others losing up to 100lbs before needing to get smaller clothes.

Increase water & salt. Try drinking a little bouillon or adding it to other broths you are drinking. -

I have a trip to Cancun coming up in April that I am looking forward to & using as incentive to stay on track. I get to buy all new clothes for the trip & there is going to be a black tie dinner one night. I am 19 days post op today. -

It sounds to me like he is afraid of change. Just keep reassuring him, like Southern Sleever said, you will have lots of changes for a while but you will settle into a "new normal" & some of the changes may enhance his life too. -
I just got official approval & am scheduled for 12/31. I thought I would see if anyone else will be ringing in the new year from a hospital room with a new tummy

I still don't have a definitive answer but my doctor felt it went well enough to schedule me! ! ! ! My surgery date is 12/31 LOL not how I expected to spend the new year but I will take it.

Good Luck! I think that it is always harder to cut back the second time. It's like you just don't have the same determinations.

Please say a quick prayer or cross your fingers for me! My doctor has a peer to peer appeal scheduled for between 2 & 4 PST. I have done everything I was supposed to do at this point & I really want this surgery. Thanks!
