Anyone having surgery on Sept 30, 2015?
disappearingdebbie replied to LoseItKacy's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I haven't had any problems except feeling a little weak sometimes. No tummy problems though. I have one more week on mushy food then to reg. food. Don't worry about losing fast.... it took a long time to gain so.... I know it's easy to get anxious but be kind to yourself, stay on track and let the surgery do it's job! -

Had a bypass revision on Sept 29. I went through the same thing. I would be down 10 then back up 3.... I was disappointed but kept on track and weighed yesterday and suddenly...... 7 lbs down! A total of 35 lbs since surgery! We have to hang in there - follow our orders and believe in the surgery and let it "do it's thing". I'm looking forward to the Holidays and feeling REALLY well! -

Ladybugg73.... I am having a bypass revision next week. I had my original surgery in 1983. I am going to Mexico to have it done by Dr. Rodriguez, who has done this particular laparoscopic revision surgery many times and is a leader in revisions. My insurance would not cover it, so I have to pay out of pocket. The total cost for the surgery, hospital stay (for 2) ,the transportation to and from the hospital and med's on check-out is $8950. I scheduled my surgery through Beliteweight.com with Sylvia. I'll be updating here next week after my procedure. -
I had bypass in 1983. Long story short....I'm at 280 again... I am having bypass revision on Sept. 29. The best advise I can give you is this..the first time I had this done I thought it was a miracle. This time I understand that it is a tool. That IM responsible for doing what's right not the surgery. If you follow the "rules" and keep yourself on track...it will be the best thing you ever do for yourself..

My bypass journey

I had the same situation. I am having a bypass revision Sept. 29. I'm so excited because the first bypass I was young and thought out was a miracle....this time I know its a tool and that I am responsible for my success not the surgery...its just there as a boost and to help me. -
Wow...this actually brought tears to my eyes. What an inspiration! Thanks for sharing.

I'm having a bypass revision on Sept 29. SW will be about 280. Hoping to get to 150. I'm excited and anxious. I've been doing my pre-op diet for 4 weeks. Want to make things as easy as possible. I'm in the Seattle WA area. Where are you? -
