I am on a clear liquid diet for 2 weeks, I am currently 8 days in. My surgery is the 28th and I am exited and nervous at the same time. I am so ready to start my new healthier life. I have lost 15lbs in 7 days, WOW!...My doctor says we can start a full liquid diet right after surgery. Did anyone else start off this way? If so how did it go? If not, then what was your post op diet like? -

20 lbs...he gave me shakes two weeks prior. I am taking them now and lost 15 lbs in 7 days. Don't worry your Dr. Will let you know. Every doctor is different.

I am also on the pre op diet with 7 more days to go...My surgery date is 9/28. I am on clear liquids and 3 shakes a day. Lost 15 lbs in 7 days, the nights are really hard to get through if I can't fall asleep. Good luck with your surgery.
