I have celiac disease and my doctor said the only surgery he would do was the sleeve because it does not mess with my intestines. Hope it helps!

So I just started my 6 month supervised dieting! Hoping to get my sleeve done in March 2016. I am a single mother of a 8 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. It is pretty much just us 3. I will have minimal help after my surgery. I want to be as prepared as possible. I haven't taken a day off in over 2 years so I have vacation time for my surgery and also got a second job to save up extra money if needed. What foods and supplies should I stock up on so I don't depend on someone driving my to the store? What was the thing you wish you did before surgery because you are to wore out to do after? What things would I want at home to get me through the first 2 weeks? All and any advise is welcome from what to take to the hospital to what to wear at home!! Thanks!! Single mom entering a new territory, a lot nervous!

So I do not own a scale!!!!! I work in a ER so I weight myself at work. I try to only weight my self 2 times a month. Once at the NUT and once at work. I got so frustrated if the scale don't move and I eat!!!!!! So I am thinking I should keep it out of my house after surgery too! I want to judge my weight loss by my new abilities and not numbers. Numbers I seem to loss my mine with! Anyone think it is a good idea or should I give in and buy one for after surgery?

A tooth infection can be very dangerous. Even cause death. I have seen it in the ER. So 10 days of antibiotics. Then a dentist to fix it and you will be back on track! Trust me you don't want to mess with a infected tooth! Keep your head up! They did the best thing for you. You got this!
