  1. RDub, don't feel bad. I was sleeved 10/27 and I've only lost 20lbs. It's frustrating. Not sure what else I can do but go back to all fluids again. *sigh* I think this is the reason I don't come onto BP anymore. I guess this surgery isn't always successful for everyone. I'm proof.

    Plateaus suck

Hi all! I've been on a 3 week plateau and i'm getting frustrated. Anyone else having the same problem? I am 8 weeks post up.
  4. @@amandasue, don't worry! It'll work, trust me. I had never been able to lose weight on ANY diet prior to surgery. I had the surgery and the weight is coming off steadily. I am so happy!!! You will have great results, trust me!
  5. I have to wait an hour after eating to drink! It stinks!

Hi all!!! I'm doing great! Down 9.2 pounds, nausea is gone, able to eat a bit more than 3 TB at a time. Going to enjoy that 9 lbs loss cuz ill never see a loss that big again. Going to lose about 1 lb a week from this point on. Low and slow, I guess! Starting going to gym, I actually have energy to go! Its amazing! I can't wait for you all to get sleeved so you can join me in this happy place!! Hope everyone is doing well!! Tssiemer1, that stinks. Hope you're getting better! Molly, glad your psych evil went well! Bloomer, your getting there! It won't be long now!!

Bloomer, trust me, things FLY once they get insurance approval. The day I got the call that my ins was approved they scheduled me for surgery!! So hold on to your hat once ins approves you!! You'll be surprised at how quickly thongs move. I'm feeling pretty good. 9 days post surgery and I have no pain, but still have some nausea. It takes me forever to eat 3 TBS of food!! And half the time I don't want it all! Still getting used to all the changes. I've lost 9 pounds so far. I've been told that week 3-5 is when your weight loss really kicks in. So, I'm just playing the "weighting" game! Haha! Tssiemer, not sure how you slept with all that on!!

    Wow. Sarah! That's awesome! Congrats!
  9. Hi all! I 2as sleeved on 10/27 and right now I'm in phase 2, which is all liquids. I start phase 3 on sunday. That is soft, mushy proteins. Can't wait to get to phase 3, it'll be real food. Right now I'm living on water, hot tea, protein shakes, and high protein hot cocoa. I want to chew something! How is everyone doing on their diets??

    Bari Boot Camp

I also got a huge binder, which it sounds like most people already got. That's a lot of info to read in 6 days!

    Bari Boot Camp

Well, everyone, the boot camp was just about what to expect post op. Foley, drain, gas pain, expectation to be up walking, etc..... it was informative!
