"Nesting," I love it! I'm thinking about buying a pair of size 8 jeans to keep around for inspiration!! I need to find comfy clothes to wear post op and the weeks at home after surgery. Haircut doesn't sound bad, either!

I just keep thinking of my surgery date as the start of my new, thinner life! I'm excited! I should be nervous but I'm not. It's because I know this is the right decision for me. @@Edie, 19 days! Wow!!! @slipstacey, think of all the positives that will come after your surgery!! That's what keeps me from being nervous. We all can do this!!!! -
congrats, guys! my surgery date is Oct 27th and i cannot wait to start my new life! I did not have to jump through many hoops to get to this point, i guess i should feel lucky. i wish you both lots of luck on your surgery! we're almost there!!!

hi all! my surgery date is Oct 27th and i cannot wait! i'm so ready to start my new future and become the person i KNOW is inside me!!! i'll keep checking back on this forum to see how everyone is doing! nice to have some fellow travelers on the same journey. -
I work in a busy OR and i requested 2weeks off for my post-op recovery. I'm really hoping that's enough time. I'm going to do everything I can to work myself everyday and get my strength up to go back to work. Wish me luck!

Hi all! I feel the same way. Almost like time is standing still until that Oct 27th surgery date. I can't study or get anything done because I spend so much time researching all this post-op info!! *ugh* so, hopeful, you are definitely NOT alone in your thoughts. We're right there with you!
