I started with a dull ache under my right breast over night. I am 4 months post op RNY. Also having some pressure in my throat. It feels like something is stuck ( I took a pill last night and it happened after that ) also some pressure into my right back. I was wondering what it could be. It can't be gallbladder because I had that removed 4 years ago. It's not so bad that I can't function! Just a dull pressure/ache. Thanks....

Hello all, I am about 2 1/2 weeks post op from RNY and I am noticing over the last few days I am extremely tired and fall asleep during the day. I am also so cold. Which is strange because I was always hot. Is this normal??? Thanks

Hello all, I am 3 1/2 weeks post op RNY. I started the purée/ soft diet 10 days post op per my nut. Since then, I really haven't lost much weight. Maybe 2-3 pounds. I lost 23 pounds total during the 10 day pre op diet and the first 10 days after surgery on liquids. Is this normal that the weight loss slowed down? I am getting the protein and water in!!! Maybe my body is just adjusting??? Thanks!!!

Hello all, I had gastric bypass on 1-25-16. I am having so much gas pains in my back and lower abdomen!I've tried the gas X strips ( they don't seem to help ) I also get up and move around and use a heating pad. This feeling today makes it so hard to want to drink ( I am getting the liquids in though ) I just don't feel hungry and I feel so bloated. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hello.... My name is Dana and this is my first post to this group. My gastric bypass surgery is Monday, Jan. 25th. I started my pre op liquid diet today. Any pointers on how to get through this. I am already finding myself hungry!!! Thanks so much

Thank you all for the tips, I can have protein shakes and sugar free clear liquids, broth etc. I did get the premier shakes and liked them. My house will be squeaky clean after this week!!!???? thanks again for the kind words and advice!
