I can deposit. I am just not sure if I will have the surgery this year or early next year. Have a lot going on right now.

Thank you David, what do I need to do to start the process? I have already completed pre-op doctor appointments here in the US. I was working towards having bariatric surgery in the US. However, my insurance company will not approve me even though my BMI is 57 or higher. I look forward to seeing what Mexico has to offer. Thank you

Thank you Helena, I will look into this criteria. ☺

Helena, I don't mind paying more especially since he has the most experience and also trains other doctors.

Ask about the gastroplication, it seems to be an alternative to the gastric sleeve. I may look into that one myself. Let me know how your consult goes :-) and good luck :-)

Thank you SetLike. I also have concerns with recovering in the Hotel verse recovering in the hospital. I am still researching so yes I will keep my blog updated. I am leaning towards dr. Juan Corlava.

Love the auto correct! Dr. Altamirano

My concern with using Dr. Altair another is his spelling. I realize this may sound silly to some. But hear me out please. This surgery is a very important surgery. We are going to a foreign country for surgery that could have complications for some even though rare. Yes the doctor may have experience, and yes English maybe his second language, but when he can't pay to the details in something as simple as spelling the word with, will he pay attention to the small details during surgery and pre and post care? It's in the details even minor ones that serious outcomes could arise. I will continue my research looking into all the details :-)

Did you have Dr Lopez-Corlava?
