Looking for people in their 50's to go on this journey together

Hi I am a 53 year old nurse who is scheduled to have my surgery on Feb. 1. Today I had my pre op exam and started my liquid diet. I would love to have some friends to do this journey to give each other support and encouragement. I am so afraid of failure as I have failed every diet I have ever tried. Thanks Sandy -
A Significant Milestone

I am having surgery on 2/1 as well. I am 53 5'5" and 244 lbs. I started the liquid diet today that is required by my doctor. They are very regimented for this but that is good I like the structure. I am taking off per the doctor for 2 weeks after my surgery. I keep trying to imagine what I will look like thin so excited I can't wait -

Great I'm getting mine Feb. 1. Good luck! -
I am scheduled to have my surgery on Feb. 1 and my doctor has me doing a liquid diet only for 3 weeks. 4 shakes a day and if still hungry can eat raw plan veggies such as carrots, celery, cucumber, onion or peppers. It seems a bit excessive to me but I will do what I'm told.
