Its not loud at all, unless my mask leaks. Just the mask, its so cumbersome on my face and it irritates my skin and is causing red bumps. I know, I know, I'm being a whiny brat when this nice medical device that my insurance paid for is supposed to help me breathe. You need to breathe to live, ya know. -

I mean, the job can't ask why you're taking off work. Just say medical reason, that's all they need to know. I don't even know if you have to say medical reason.

Oh no!! You'll be fine!! I'm the queen of surgery!! I've had 8 surgeries in just a few years and it is scary but it's useless to worry about. You need rest so the surgery will go great and you'll be better soon!! Good luck!!

I understand completely. I have 2 aunts like that lol. Ps do you ever sleep? -
I chose the sleeve due to less of a chance for malabsorption problems, dumping, malnutrition etc. I don't have acid reflux either.

I know aspartame messes with my kidneys. When I was drinking soda I had to have Diet Coke with Splenda and stuff. But like EVERYTHING has aspartame it seems. -

So I found some nice distractions. 1. I bought a little journal and on the from it says "Fit Happens." It's a little prompt journal about health and fitness. 2. I started a bullet journal. I made my own right now by printing dotted paper and cutting it in half and putting it in a mini binder. It's going ok. I'm still setting it up but it's fun to get creative. Right now it's a planner so far but I'll add other things. -

I am going to cheese cake factory the weekend before my pre op diet lol. I am also going to visit this diner from Lexington where I went to college next weekend. Mmm blackened catfish and fried okra. -

Yeah I've been in that hospital before. Very nice bed for guests. It comes out of the couch to make a full size bed. Or the back of the couch comes down to make a twin size bed. -

My VSG is May 10th!! Wooo. I have tried so may protein shakes and bars and have settled on GNC Lean 25 shakes and quest bars. I don't know about vitamins yet. I'll find out at my nutrition class on the 22nd. -
