    Well that stinks, sorry. Maybe if you call a surgeon they can give you a name of a pcp who they work with??

    I scheduled consultations with surgeons in my area first (Vineland). They gave me all the requirements ie support group meetings, nutritionist appts, psych eval and I went from there. All my pcp has to do is give me pre-op clearance after reviewing the labs etc the week before surgery. Maybe it depends on your insurance?
